Story
Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement—Kennel License #2617Could he do well with kids? Yes, with children around 8 years on a kid-by-kid basis.Could he do well with other dogs? Yes, on a dog-by-dog basis.Has this dog lived with cats? Yes. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not “cat test” dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]---Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Remmy was initially hesitant but actively engaged with me during the assessment. He showed more interest in investigation than play and recovered quickly from being startled. He understood basic commands like `sit,` `down,` and `paw,` and often sought reassurance by trying to crawl into my lap. He was curious about meeting new people and frequently checked in with me. When meeting another dog, he approached with curiosity but remained reserved.---For more resources to help with any step of your adoption journey go to: https://go.petadoptiongateway.com/LycomingDT

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bo! Bo is a handsome 1-year-old Boxer/Redbone Coonhound mix weighing about 50 pounds, and he's ready to find a family to call his own! This sweet, loyal boy loves being with his people and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. Whether you're heading out for a hike, taking a long walk, or just relaxing at home, Bo is happiest by your side. He walks well on a leash and would make an amazing adventure buddy for an active family committed to giving him the daily exercise he needs. Bo is house-trained and does well when left home alone, as long as he isn't crated. While crates aren't his favorite, he's non-destructive and settles in nicely outside of one. Because he loves his people so much, he can be a little anxious when separated, so he'll thrive in a home that can continue building his confidence and provide him with plenty of companionship. Bo enjoys other dogs a little too much! While he is dog-friendly, his enthusiasm can be overwhelming. At this time, he do best as the only dog in the home where he can soak up all the attention. He is not a good fit for a home with cats. Due to his energetic, bouncy personality, he'd also do best with older, dog-savvy children who can keep up with his playful spirit. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with a heart full of love, a zest for adventure, and endless devotion to his people, Bo just might be your perfect match. Bo's Highlights: Bo is ready to give his whole heart to the family willing to give him the love, exercise, and stability he deserves. Could that family be yours? 1 year old Boxer/Redbone Coonhound mix ⚖️ About 50 pounds ✅ House-trained Walks well on a leash Great hiking and adventure companion ❤️ Incredibly loyal and people-oriented Best with older children Dog-friendly but would do best as the only pet No cats Doesn't enjoy being crated but is trustworthy when left loose Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs.  We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. Story
This beautiful girl is Babe. She gets her name honestly because she is just a sweet baby. She came to our shelter through no fault of her own and is looking for her new furrever family. She loves to play and tug-of-war is her game! She knows how to sit like a lady and take her treats nicely. She may even sneak in a kiss or two if your not looking. She does wonderful during bath time and likes to drink the water from the shower. We think she would do best in a home that has older kids that can keep up with her energy during play time. If you think Babe is the girl for you please feel free to apply for her at www.clearfieldcountyspca.org.

Story
Are you one to stop and smell the roses? If so, Rosie is looking for a home with someone who enjoys the finer things in life too! Rosie is a 2 year old, cane corse/boxer mix who was brought to ARC when her previous owners could no longer care for her. We have helped Rosie settled in here at the shelter, but we know she would do so much better somewhere where she can run around and roll in the grass all day. Her zoomies are the best thing about her- and she’d LOVE to show them off for you! She has the biggest smile which means her choppers are perfect at catching things mid air and if its not a toy you`re throwing her way make sure it is a treat because she loves those just as much. Rosie enjoys going for walks and is learning to walk properly on a leash. She has been such a sweet girl to everyone she has met so far and would love to find a home where she can be loved and cared for. Rosie is open to meeting other dogs (a meet and greet would be required at our shelter for any canine siblings, *NO CATS*). Rosie is spayed, microchipped & up to date on all vaccinations. If interested in adopting Rosie, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (it can be located under the ‘adoptable dogs’ section).
