Story
Mr. Moon is relatively new to our shelter but has already shown us what a fun, lively guy he is. He's super energetic and playful, with a big love for tug-of war and running around burning off his excitement. While he enjoys staying active, he would make a great companion for an active household looking for a best friend. Mr. Moon is looking for an adult-only home without children. He can be mouthy at times, so he will need an adopter who understands the importance of consistency and ongoing training to help him succeed.

Story
Blaze is such a sweet and special boy. We adopted him last July from a really bad situation where he had been kept in a cage all day and was very malnourished. Since then, he’s come so far and truly blossomed into the sweetest, happiest dog. He’s about 4 years old. He’s fully housebroken and 100% potty trained. He walks great on a leash and harness (which we’ll send with him if needed). We can update his shots before adopting too. Blaze loves to cuddle just as much as he loves to play with his toys and chew on bones. He doesn’t dig and has never chewed on furniture or shoes. He knows his basic commands and does really well with our other two dogs. This has been a really hard decision and one that hasn’t come easily because he is such a good boy. But our two cats have never adjusted to him, and we’re worried his curiosity could unintentionally lead to one of them getting hurt. We’re hoping to find him a safe, loving home and avoid taking him to a shelter.

Story
Four year old Boxer/Pit mix looking for a forever home. He's a big, strong, affectionate boy who loves the people he knows. Because of his size and strength my wife was no longer able to walk him while I was at work, so we had to keep him outside. We believe he would do best with someone experienced with large dogs. He was house trained when he was indoors. He is alert and will bark when someone approaches the house making him an excellent watchdog. He's been around our cats and the neighbors dogs and has been fine, but his behavior around children, or other cats and dogs is unknown, so slow introductions are recommended. We're rehoming him as we have a baby and with his strength, although he may not mean to, could possibly injure our baby even when he's just trying to be his playful self. He loves to give you his paw to shake, and turn around when you ask him to give you his butt. We just want him to find a loving home so we are willing to meet a pretty good distance. Utd on shots

Story
Meet Moon Pie Almost 2 years | 80 lbs | Spayed | House-trained | Ready for her person Moon Pie isn’t for everyone—and that’s exactly why she hasn’t landed yet. She’s a **big, athletic, high-drive dog** who bonds hard to her human and expects real engagement. If you want a casual pet, keep scrolling. If you want a **loyal, smart, ride-or-die companion**—keep reading. The Dog Boxer × Hanging Tree mix = brains, speed, and intensity. She loves people. Like, *thinks she’s a lap dog* loves people. She wants connection, structure, and a job—even if that job is hiking beside you every day. She’s house trained, fully vetted, and physically thriving. Her Past (and Why It Matters) Moon Pie survived being trapped under a pallet, leaving a scar on her back. That scar? Cosmetic. What matters is this: **she’s tough, resilient, and she came back stronger.** Moon Pie needs: ✔ Structure, not chaos ✔ Daily physical exercise (not a backyard lap) ✔ Mental work (training, tasks, engagement) ✔ A handler who understands high-drive dogs She has had conflict with a similarly matched female dog. For success, we are placing her as: ✔ Only dog OR ✔ With a calm, opposite-sex dog after proper intro Ideal Home You’re a fit if you: • Like dogs with *presence* • Understand energy and arousal—not just “obedience” • Want a dog that actually **does life with you** • Aren’t intimidated by a strong, smart dog Straight Truth Moon Pie is not “too much.” She’s just been waiting for someone who’s enough. Right now, she’s getting passed over by people who don’t understand her. That’s fine. We’re looking for the one who does. Location Greeneville, TN Transport options available for the right home If you’ve owned working or high-drive dogs and you’re ready for one that will **lock onto you and not look back**, apply now. If you’re unsure—this isn’t your dog.
