Very sweet guy, super soft fur, loves to cuddle. George will do anything for a treat if he can figure out what you want. Not the sharpest pencil in the box but has learned sit, shake, lay, "put'em up" still working on "bang". His silliness is part of his charm. I got him for a companion to my other dog that is a few years older. They loved each other at first but she's over it, he's just an aggravating little brother now. At 65 years old I've found out two 50 lb dogs are more than I can handle, HELP! I'm in Nashville most days of the week. George would love to ride along and meet you! George will come with his favorite beds, toys and 1 year of heartworm meds. He just got a 3 year rabies vaccine.

Meet November!  Miss November is ready to find her forever home. Novie is a beautiful boxer and mountain cur mix, with an estimated birthday of 12/01/2020. November came to us as a scared and skinny stray who just wanted some love, and she blossomed in our care. She has come up to a healthier weight, and is showing us what a social butterfly she can be! Novie has become a big lovebug, she is all happy smiles and butt wiggles, and has never met someone she didn't love. She does very well with other dogs, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any at home. Sweet, energetic, Jupiter is ready for adoption. She is a special needs girl who will need continued medical care. When she came to the rescue she had virtually no hair due to Demodex Mange, Heart worm positive, and a severe eye infection caused by Entropion (which is when the eyelids roll inward and the eye lashes are constantly rubbing the eye). She has been treated for mange, been spayed, and has had multiple surgeries to fix her eyes. We do not know if her hair will ever fully come back. She is receiving treatment for heart worms. She will need to continued treatment with eye medication due to now having dry eye. We have also discovered that she suffers from allergies. This will require continued allergy injections, RX food, and regular vet visits for skin issues. We know its a lot, but we simply can't give up on her. She does well with some dogs,, but would love to be spoiled and live her life as an only pet. She does great with the 3yr old in her foster home.

Penny here, I'm petite pitty female that landed a sweet foster home after having my pups at AC. My pups have grown up to not need me anymore so I have a little anxiety. I love people a bit more than I probably should which has caused me to have some separation anxiety when my people leave. I do well in a sturdy travel kennel or a sturdy wire kennel when I'm left at home to keep me safe. When I was younger I probably didn't get to practice much manners with others. I have played well eventually with a couple of male dogs. I may need to be only dog since not many others understand my harsh playing and lack of boundaries. I do however love little kids and have been around a little one as young as one with supervision. I'm intense lover and would really enjoy a home to call my own.
