Meet Matilda!
Matilda is a sweet, gentle girl with a loving heart and a playful spark. She may take a moment to warm up, but bring out some squeaky toys and treats and you’ll quickly see her personality shine! She enjoys pets, attention, and spending time with her people.
In her foster home, Matilda showed just how well she can settle into family life. She’s house-trained, sleeps well through the night, and after getting her energy out, she’s happy to relax as a total couch potato. She’s calm, curious, and enjoys being part of the home—whether that’s lounging nearby or joining you for an outing (she does great in the car, too!).
Matilda is still learning some of her manners, like walking nicely on a leash, but she’s eager to learn and would thrive with continued positive guidance. She’s also a smart, playful girl who benefits from having appropriate toys and enrichment to keep her busy—she just likes to stay entertained!
She’s curious about both people and other pets and handles new environments well, even around loud noises. With a little structure, love, and consistency, Matilda is going to make an incredibly loyal and well-rounded companion.

Local adopters are always welcome and encouraged! You’re invited to visit our Pet Adoption Center in Webster, Texas — no appointment needed.

Walk in to meet adoptable pets, talk with our team, and get help finding the right match.
For out-of-state adopters, we offer nationwide transport through a trusted partner with pickup locations across TX, UT, ID, OR, WA, MT, CO, KS, NE, SD, OH, IN, NY, VT, CT, VA, NC, GA, and surrounding areas based on route availability.
Canadian adopters are welcome and will pick up at a designated U.S. location.
Pets travel on a private, climate-controlled transport bus with professional drivers and attendants providing 24-hour care. Adopters receive updates, photos, and clear communication throughout the journey. Our team is happy to help you find the closest pickup location.
Adoption Fee Includes
Your adoption fee covers comprehensive veterinary care and transport, including:
• Age-appropriate vaccines (DHHP/FVRCP, Rabies; FeLV for cats)
• Deworming, flea prevention, and heartworm testing (dogs 6+ months)
• Spay/neuter
• Microchip with free lifetime registration
• Health certificate for interstate travel
• Any additional medical care recommended prior to adoption
• Transport costs
