Story
A New Shelter & A New Hope: Meet Lyles.Lyles has spent nearly his entire life behind kennel bars. He entered his first shelter as a tiny puppy and was somehow overlooked for far too long. We brought him to our shelter for one reason: to give him the fresh start he deserves! Lyles is a gorgeous brindle boy who is EXTREMELY dog friendly—seriously, he’s a social superstar with other pups! While he’s a little slow to trust humans at first, he’s a `slow burn` worth waiting for. Once you win him over with head scratches, he’ll be your shadow. He’s already potty trained, obedient, and has perfect leash skills. He just needs a yard to play in and a couch to share. Let’s make sure this is the last shelter he ever sees.

Story
This is Maggie, our sweet boxer/bulldog mix who is looking for a new home. Due to a recent divorce and caring for young children (including triplets), I’m no longer able to give Maggie the time and attention she deserves. This has been a very difficult decision, and my priority is finding her a safe, loving home where she can thrive.

Story
She needs so much exercise! She’s very cuddly and loves attention. She’s wary of strangers but warms up very quickly. She’s protective and can learn very quickly. We got her as a puppy from a neighbor who needed help rehoming many puppies they accidentally had. We work during the day and no matter how much we run her or walk her around our schedules, she just needs more time and attention and can become destructive without it.

Story
Meet Reba 🐾 Reba is a sweet and loving adult pit mix who has been with us since 2024 and is more than ready for a forever home. She has been thriving in a caring foster home with other dogs to play with and enjoys being part of a pack. Her foster family shares that Reba does great with other dogs, especially bully breeds or dogs that love to play. She has lots of energy and would do best in a home that can keep up with her playful, fun-loving personality. Reba is also crate trained, which will help make her transition into a new home smoother. She’s a wonderful dog who has waited patiently—now she just needs someone to give her the chance she deserves. 💕 Questions? Email: info@lifelinetx.org Local Adoptions Are Welcome! Story
Winnie is a fun-loving pup with great puppy energy and a big personality to match. She’s incredibly smart and eager to learn, already picking up commands like “sit” and “lay down” in just about a week. She genuinely enjoys training and working for treats, and would thrive with someone who loves teaching their dog new things and keeping their mind engaged. Winnie is very playful and would likely do especially well with other active dogs who enjoy running, playing, and burning off energy together. With her enthusiasm for life, she’ll do best in a home that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and opportunities to stay busy. When playtime is over, Winnie is also a total sweetheart. She loves being close to her people and happily curls up on the couch for cuddles. She’s on the smaller side and will absolutely try to squeeze herself into your lap if you let her. Winnie is also a big fan of toys—especially tough chews and enrichment toys that keep her entertained. She can be a little shy around men at first, but with a little time to warm up, Winnie shows just how friendly and loving she really is. With the right home and continued guidance, she’s sure to grow into a confident, social companion who will bring a lot of joy to her future family. 🐾 Local & Nationwide Adoptions Welcome Local adopters are always welcome and encouraged! Story
Hi, my name is Charlie Blue, and, as you can see, I’m very good natured.  What other dog would let you dress them up like a squirrel?  In fact, my friends at the shelter dress me up in all kinds of costumes and I just give them a big kiss when the photo shoots are done.  Frankly, I love the attention. My day is only complete once I’ve curled up in someone’s lap, had lot’s of belly rubs, and an ear scratch or two.  I’m not lazy though, I love to chase tennis balls.  You will need two though as I haven’t mastered the concept of “drop”.   I’m good natured, have tons of personality, and would love to share my life with you.  If you are looking for a fun loving, loving gal then call the shelter and ask for Charlie Blue!
