Paloma was an owner surender, due to having no time to give attention needed for this dog. Paloma is housebroken, knows basic commands.  She is friendly around people and gets along well with other dogs. We hope you will come meet her at the shelter.  Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Xena had puppies in the month of May, 2025 and was such a good momma to those babies. Now Xena is ready for a home of her very own. Meet Felicia 🐾💕 27 lbs • Spayed female • Possible Boxer mix Felicia is living proof that sometimes second chances show up at the very last moment. We received an email that Felicia was scheduled to be euthanized at a local shelter. By the time we saw it, we truly believed we were already too late… until we got the message that she was somehow still alive. The second we heard that, we jumped at the chance to get her out. And honestly? We are SO glad we did. Felicia has the cutest little underbite and a face that makes people smile instantly. We believe she may be a Boston Terrier mix, though of course that's just our best guess. Right now, Felicia is still thin from everything she has been through, but she's settling in beautifully. So far, we've learned that she's a sweet, happy girl who absolutely loves playing with other dogs. She can get a little vocal during play sessions, but she seems to have a great time romping around with her canine friends. At around 27 pounds, Felicia is the perfect medium size—not too big, not too small. She's active, playful, and always ready for fun, but she's also thrilled to finally be safe and loved. We are still learning more about her personality every day, but one thing is already clear: Felicia is making the most of her second chance. After everything she's survived, Felicia deserves a home where she'll never have to wonder if she matters again. 🖤
