Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! ****COURTESY POST**** ACE is a male Boxer Mix, rescued, trained and ready for adoption or foster today!&#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Ace is a 2-year-old dog who originally came from Next Door. His previous family decided to give him up because he is absolutely obsessed with his ball and tends to guard his toys. While this might sound a bit quirky, it’s just part of who he is! Ace has completed 4 weeks of training, which has helped him develop better manners, but due to his strong attachment to his ball, he would be best suited as the only dog in the home. When he gets his ball, he really gets “kookoo for cocoa puffs!” Despite his intense love for his toys, Ace is friendly with other dogs and enjoys being around people, especially kids who are respectful of his space. He still has a lot of puppy energy, so he loves to play, go on walks, and stay active. Ace was initially posted on Next Door before being surrendered to a shelter. Luckily, he was rescued just in time, saved from being euthanized on his scheduled date. Ace is an affectionate, happy little guy with a lot of love to give. He just needs someone who understands his quirks and is ready to give him the attention and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and loving companion, Ace could be the perfect fit! Around 1-2years old Ace is a medium energy level dog. He Will lay down and relax and chew on a bone or sleep peacefully in his crate. He loves walks, he’s toy and food motivated. He knows the following commands: sit, down, wait, stay and look pawetty. He is potty and crate trained. Ace can walk well on a leash. He can heel and halt! Trained by @valkyriesofvalor_k9s Ace is ready for adoption!!! Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or  https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old  (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix.  He will be a medium to large dog as an adult.  Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old.  Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots).  Rubble is the sole survivor.  He will be special needs throughout his life.  He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans?  When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper.  He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides.  He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects.  He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap.  He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health.   He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family.  He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home.    No apartments.   Courtesay post for the Helotes Humane Society. Story
Meet Raymond — Still the King of Chill 👑☀️Raymond is an almost 11-year-old gentleman who was found as a stray, leaving his past a bit of a mystery. What we do know is this: Raymond has fully embraced the art of taking life slow and savoring the simple joys—preferably from a warm, sunny spot.A true senior soul, Raymond appreciates the little things: a cozy place to lounge, leisurely strolls, and a good scratch behind the ears. Rainy days aren’t his favorite (they interfere with his sunbathing schedule), and he prefers to be the only animal in his kingdom. While he’s not much for cuddling, he truly enjoys being petted and treated with the respect a king deserves.Raymond has been in our care for 304 days and counting, patiently waiting for his forever home. Despite the time that’s passed, he remains sweet, mellow, and quietly hopeful that someone will see him for the gentle companion he is.Please note: Raymond does have daily medications that will need to be continued—but he takes them like a champ. If your perfect day includes soaking up the sunshine with a calm, loyal companion by your side, Raymond is ready to rule your heart—one sunbeam at a time. Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Smudge has made wonderful progress in foster care. When he first left the shelter, car rides were stressful, but now he loves riding in the truck and happily responds to “load up.” He knows several commands including sit, stay, wait, down, crate, up, and off, and is doing well with recall. He also understands potty cues like “go pee” and waits politely at doors until given permission to go in or out.Smudge is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. He’s a low-energy, couch-loving boy who enjoys being close to his person—often curled up beside (or under a blanket!). He’s a true “Velcro dog” who thrives on human affection and companionship. He no longer jumps on people, is eager to learn, and picks up new skills quickly. Smudge is a gentle, loving dog who will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org
