Story
Meet Adrienne! Looking for a puppy who is as smart as she is sweet? Meet Adrienne! At just 5 months old and a dainty 13 pounds, Adrienne is a joy to her foster parent. She is underweight, but we're working on it. Luckily, she is very treat-motivated. Adrienne is highly intelligent and picks up on new routines quickly—she can play fetch and sit on command! She's working on potty training, but is better at it when her foster parent is paying attention!  She loves to play with toys and mini tennis balls - which she chases all around the house. She loves playing with her brother. She shares toys and treats.  When the playtime is over, Adrienne’s favorite place to be is right next to you. She is a world-class snuggler who thrives on affection and will happily curl up in your lap for a long nap. She is great with kids - tested with ages 7 and 11.  If you’re looking for a loyal, clever, and loving girl who will be a great friend, Adrian is the one for you! She is up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. She will be spayed at our cost around 8 months of age. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Meet Rocky! Are you looking for a companion who is as clever as he is cute? Meet Rocky! At 5 months old and 17 pounds, Rocky is a handsome young guy with a heart of gold and a very sharp mind. He's a little underweight but is happy to put on some pounds as he's very treat-motivated!  Rocky is a true "thinker." He’s incredibly smart and loves to stay busy—he figures out even the most difficult puzzle games in record time! He’s always looking for a way to use his brain, making him a joy to train. But don't let his "professor" personality fool you; he’s a playful puppy who loves his toys. Most importantly, he’s a total gentleman in the house—he knows exactly which things are his and doesn't chew on anything that isn't a toy. When he’s finished solving puzzles and playing, Rocky’s favorite place to be is right by your side. He is a huge fan of humans and will actively look for your attention and snuggles. He’s also a star student when it comes to manners—he’s almost potty trained and likely would be if his foster parent were paying closer attention! If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate boy to join your family, Rocky is ready to meet you. Rocky is up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. He will be neutered at 8 months of age at our cost. His adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
I never thought I would be the kind of person who would rehome at pet :( It is with great sadness that I am doing this. Penny needs a home with more a more active family. She needs a large yard and possibly other dog playmates. And daily ball throwing. Her current family is two 60 year old women. We recently located to 55+ living and she has less freedom. We are not able to provide her with the life she deserves and the life we want for her. She was born July 2024 and we have had her since November 2024 (she helped me survive after the election) from a breeder. She is very sweet and loving. She is a typical exuberant and goofy boxer. She has had some basic obedience training. She shows no food aggression and is polite in taking treats. She is curious and gentle. Likes to jump and run. Can be shy at first, warms quickly. She comes with a wire crate and lots of toys. Adopter must experience with this breed. There is a fee, it is negotiable.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🤠🐾 Meet Bastrop — The Little Cowboy of Puppy Shenanigans 🐾🤠 Male • 3 Months Old • ~12 lbs • Boxer / Malinois Mix (best guess) This handsome little guy is Bastrop, a 3-month-old, 12-pound bundle of curiosity, wiggles, and future adventure buddy greatness. Right now he’s in the early stages of puppyhood — which basically means life is one big exciting experiment involving toys, zoomies, snacks, and investigating absolutely everything. Bastrop can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but don’t worry — he has one very effective weakness: treats. Offer a snack and suddenly you’re upgraded to “trusted human” status. Being very food motivated means he’s also going to be a rock star student when it comes to training. One thing Bastrop is already very confident about? Dogs are awesome. He absolutely loves other dogs and will need a home with a friendly, confident canine sibling to help guide him and continue building his confidence. Having a dog buddy means playtime, learning the house rules, and of course — proper nap pile formation. Bastrop is also learning important puppy skills like walking on a leash and exploring the world around him. Every day is a new adventure, and he approaches it all with wide eyes and a wagging tail. He’s also a fan of water and outdoor exploring, which means puddles, sprinklers, and creek splashing are all high on his list of approved hobbies. And once he settles in and his confidence really kicks in? Well… prepare yourself. Because that’s when the official Bastrop Puppy Shenanigan Show begins. Expect things like: • High-speed zoomie laps around the yard • Toy collections mysteriously appearing everywhere • Dramatic “I meant to do that” puppy tumbles • Nose-first investigations of everything in sight • Daily laugh-out-loud puppy comedy moments Bastrop is the perfect age to grow up alongside his forever family, learning the ropes while joining in on all the adventures — hiking trails, backyard playtime, camping trips, neighborhood walks, and of course couch snuggles once the day’s fun is done. His dream home is one that enjoys being active, laughing often, and embracing the joyful chaos that comes with raising a puppy. Because once Bastrop settles in and lets his personality shine, he’s going to bring a lifetime of laughs, loyalty, and tail-wagging happiness. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Bastrop bring the puppy comedy, the adventures, and the endless smiles into your life. 🐶💛
