I am a super sweet, loving, young girl with fur so soft it feels like velvet. I am deaf, but that doesn’t slow me down, I enjoy the world in so many other ways. I am eager to please and learn very quickly especially when there are treats involved, I already know several signs. I love to play with toys, chews, balls, other dogs, all of it! I recently learned how to play fetch; I love to stay busy. My ideal home will have a buddy for me to pal around with and show me the ropes. Sparkles 3 YO 36 Pounds Dog Friendly Crate & Leash Trained Fostered in Lake Forest Park, WA Hi, I'm Sparkles! I am a bundle of love, weighing in at just 36 pounds. While I may be shy at first, I warm up quickly to show you my sweet, gentle personality. I have all the fun Boxer traits—playful, goofy, and I even do the kidney bean dance complete with tail wags when I'm happy to see you. All I want is to be loved on, there is no such thing as too much love and attention for me. I am currently living with a Boxer brother that I really enjoy playing with. I usually have some sort of toy near by and will gladly engage in play once I'm comfortable with you. I like to be outside at home, this is where I feel most confident,  and so far, the PNW rainy weather hasn’t gotten me down. I am working on building up my confidence so when I leave the house and go for walks, they feel less intimidating. I am getting used to being in and around crowds and learning that not all loud noises are scary. My foster mom really wants me to "sparkle", so she has been patient with me, goes slow, and offers encouragement with lots of treats during our walks. This helps me feel more assured, and I make progress each time. My ideal home would be with another male dog, who is confident and can be my bud.  I would also gladly take all your attention as an only dog and be your forever cuddle buddy and companion. I know most of the important manners like "sit", I do well on car rides and will sleep quietly in my crate. Though I am gentle with kids, I would be happiest in a home that is on the quieter side and predictable. Once I trust you, my full personality comes out at full speed. Meet Toodee — the gorgeous, grey, hazel-eyed heart-melter who looks like she walked straight out of a moody dog-model photoshoot but acts like a giggly, wiggly cartoon character who can’t believe her luck that humans exist. She’s about one year old, around 50 lbs, and 100% sweetheart. Her tail has two settings: wiggle and super-turbo wiggle, and when she’s excited, her whole body gets in on it like she’s made of Jell-O and optimism. We think she’s got some boxer in her (rescue guessing game: 10/10), but whatever the mix, she’s pure squishy-faced, wiggle-butt joy Toodee is a professional snuggler, a toy thief (in the cutest way), and a certified “follow you around to see what you’re doing” investigator. If you pick up a snack? She’s there. Folding laundry? She’s there. Opening a mysterious cabinet? She. Is. There. Her foster says she’s the kind of pup who lights up the whole room with her goofy charm and full-body wiggles, and she loves nothing more than being with her people, lounging in sunny spots, and playing silly games with her dog friends. Her play style is big, bouncy, and delightfully dramatic — she’s mouthy, rowdy, and occasionally sounds like she’s narrating her own WWE highlight reel, all in fun. A confident, goofy male dog who isn’t bothered by her “LET’S PLAY NOW PLEASE” energy would be her absolute dream teammate. Toodee lives with dogs in her foster home and does great with them.
