Story
She is currently 3 years old, turning 4 soon. I got her from someone I knew who was looking for a new home for her, and I took her in when she was just 11 months old. At this time, I’m looking for a loving and responsible home for her because my current situation—being pregnant while also working and attending school—makes it difficult for me to give her the attention and care she deserves. She is a very affectionate and gentle girl who loves cuddling and being close to her person. She gets along with other cats, although she may need a little time to adjust since she has been an indoor cat. She also enjoys sitting by the window and watching the outside world. Overall, she is laid-back, sweet, and very loving.

Good with cats,
Story
Sakura is a gorgeous brown tabby British Shorthair. She was left on the street to fend for herself. Her health deteriorated from neglect. She is safe now! Sakura is truly a success story. She came to us weak, thin and sick. She came down with FIP but survived through FIP treatment. She had an eye issue that had to be operated on by a veterinary eye doctor. The poor thing was getting chronic upper respiratory infections. She has a smushed in face. We took her to a specialist that operated on her to widen her nasal passages. She can breath much easier. She is a calm gentle sweet cat like the British Shorthair bred cats. Loves attention. Gets along fine with other cats. Because of her past medical history and her breed we would like to see her go to a home with experience caring for British Shorthair cats. She should be in a quiet home. She is a warrior!!! Story
Bella was also acquired from a breeder and has been raised indoors in a structured home. She was born on June 27, 2025. Bella is gentle, calm, observant, and sweet-natured. She enjoys peaceful surroundings and steady routines. She forms strong bonds with her person and thrives in a home where she feels secure and attended to. I am looking for a stable, indoor-only home that will provide long-term commitment, regular attention, and a calm environment.

Story
DEUCE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is DEUCE. He is a gorgeous striped tabby. He will need a special patient person as he is still extremely shy.  With the right amount of patience, he will make a great kitty in a quiet home.  He is very food motivated.  He is not recommended for dogs or children. He would probably do best with a gentle outgoing companion to help him get out of his shell. He  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  His adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link:  https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:36 am
