Story
Meet Ping: A Graceful, "Ageless" Companion Age: ~15 Years | Health: Excellent (Recent Dental & Clean Labs) | Only Pet Preferred Ping has spent the last 14 years in a loving home since being adopted from a shelter. She needs a peaceful sanctuary where she can spend her golden years as the guest of honor (her people are retiring, closing down their home, and going off to explore in a campervan indefinitely). Ping is shy with strangers; a loyal "homebody" once she gains trust. She finds comfort in a calm, female presence and will reward her person with devotion. Greets you every morning with her signature "myacks" and gurgly purr. If you've been gone awhile, she’ll trot down and welcome you home. Ping isn’t a fan of being picked up, but loves being stroked while sitting next to you— she’ll even offer up her soft belly for rubs. Ping is in remarkable shape and still plays with wiggly things. Vet reports good labs and recently cleaned teeth - no extractions needed. Will you be hers?

Story
This little lady will be a hard one to let go…🩷 Estella is a 12 year old senior who came to Finally Home Animal Haven about 4 months ago. She is finally ready for adoption and she is the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. She is UTD on vaccines, good with dogs, cats, children…you name it…🐾 She snuggles like no other and wants to be in your lap at all times. She had dental extractions so she has no teeth, but does wonderful on pates. She loves toys and gets bursts of playful energy (it’s adorable) before sleeping the rest of the day away. Story
Alle was adopted by me in Charlottesville 3/24 with a listed birth date 2/13/23. After adoption I found that she had been transferred from the SPCA in Covington, VA. I contacted them and learned that she was found in a home with a kitten by a Realtor in Nov 23. The kitten was at some point adopted. The paperwork indicates that she had been adopted and returned one time. I have 45 years of cat experience but she is the first adult that I adopted. She was hand shy and quick to grab with her teeth. It was 10 months before she got into my lap and went to sleep. She has turned into a wonderful little girl. She has learned to live with a cat experienced dog but it would be best, imo, for her to be an only pet w/o young children. She is very easy to handle. I pick her twice a day,she gets on my lap frequently, gives boops and a chirper She is an indoor/outdoor cat, still plays with her toys, uses the litter box when necessary, and her scratch post and pads w/o using the furniture.

Story
Penelope was found in the streets of waynesboro, she arrived at my door to get some food and shelter. Shes around 2-3 years on estimate and she is the sweetest thing. Shy at first, but warmed up quickly with some attention. Penelope loves pets and to cuddle, almost as much as she loves food. Shes very clingy and will cry out for you when you leave her alone. She could use someone who works remotely or likes to spend a lot of time at the house as she does not like car rides. Good temperament and very well mannered, she does well with my cats and will probably do well with children. Penelope loves to make biscuits and spend quality time with her caretakers. She isnt loud as long as she can see you, and she absolutely prefers to be able to see you.

Story
Meet 8mo Milo! He is a sweet, playful boy. Unfortunately, his current feline housemate has not welcomed him into the home (not Milo's fault!). After approximately 7 months of trying everything to acclimate them, there has been no success. Milo is good with other cats and small dogs (he would probably like big dogs too!). He is such a sweet boy and deserves to have a playful, accepting housemate.

Story
Amma kitty is a loving, 4-year old, female, indoor/outdoor, sweet purring lap cat. She would thrive in a quiet household as the only pet or with 1 other cat. She loves to be brushed, to watch the birds, squirrels and leaves outside from the indoor window ledge, to sit in the warm sunshine, stretch and scratch a tree, to cuddle, and sleep hidden under a warm blanket. Amma kitty is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and litter-trained. She's happy and healthy with eating wet, grain-free cat food. Amma kitty enjoys high perches, playing with her little fishy and mousey toys, and being with cat-loving people.
