Story
Chulo is a rescue that I found 2 years ago, that I originally fostered, but ultimately adopting since we fell in love with him. He LOVES butt scratches and nibbling on bones. He plays well with other dogs and enjoys going for walks and Troy parks. He is very obedient and is well trained. Unfortunately as Chulo has gotten older, he has been trying to be the dominant male in the household which is not going well with my older male dog despite how much they love to cuddle with each other. He currently lives in a children-free home, but never had an issue when kids came over so I think he will do well with kids. He is a snoring sausage that is looking for his happily ever after.

Story
I am DEAF which is why I can be so vocal. I am extremeley sweet but need to learn some manners. Maybe my previous home didn't realize I couldn't hear them? I did great meeting other dogs, both male and female. I have a HIGH PREY DRIVE so I need a home without livestock or small animals. I did great for my vaccines and blood draw and they say I am healthy. I was not possesive of my food and I was willing to share with the staff. I am looking for a good home with breed experience.April 22, 2024, 7:06 pm

Story
Luna is a great dog, great companion and super fun and active. She is great with kids and she has been very good with our other dog. She is NOT good with small animals. She is very reactive to cats and chickens that I am aware of. Likely more small animals as well. She cannot go to a home with small animals as well.

Story
La-La needs a Fur-ever Home We adopted beautiful Lala in September 2023 from Oakland Animal Services. Lala is a small, 58-pound pitbull made of PURE LOVE. She’s attentive, affectionate, and has shown to be trainable. She’s also house trained and likes spending most of her time lounging in the yard or inside with us. She doesn't like long walks but is a big fan of playing with tennis balls. Unfortunately we need to rehome Lala because she needs to be in a home without young children or other pets (she’s very fond of men in particular). She would do well with older kids! She’s an amazing dog and has a long wonderful life ahead of her, which is why we’re looking for her perfect match! Lala deserves so much love because she gives so much love! After we adopted Lala, we discovered a cancerous tumor. Our amazing vet was able to remove the tumor and now she is totally cancer free! Lala will make a fantastic addition to a home where she can thrive!
