Story
Dulce is a very friendly and fun-loving gal. She is extremely social with all people and all animals, but she really lights up when there are kids around. She can be a bit too in your face at times.... but she's still young and inquisitive. She is learning boundaries along with tons of other commands since she's a very smart cookie. And even though her videos show her happy, active side she definitely knows how to chill out and cuddle.

Story
Hello from Texas. I’m a pretty white Bull Terrier mix named Lady. I’m about 2 years old, weigh 61 lbs, and I was found curled up in a ball during icy temperatures, freezing and starving on the side of a busy highway south of San Antonio, Texas. I weighed only 40 lbs and looked like I was at death's door, but fast forward 2 months, and I’m the picture of health: happy and pretty, fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready to find my future! I am a friendly girl, good with humans, young and old, other dogs, and although I was curious to sniff a kitty cat, I did not chase it. I love playtime with dogs my size since I can play a bit rough, and I love running zoomies. I love dog toys, but prefer the hard chew bones like Nylabone/Benebone/Bam-Bones. If you are looking for an excellent doggy co-pilot for road trips, I sit nicely in the front passenger seat, just looking out the window with a smile on my face. I also love to explore and go for walks with a leash. Just a bit of leash pulling at first until we get underway, and then I walk very nicely. My foster mom says I am well-behaved and only bark when I need to alert you. I’m housebroken and know how to use a doggy door. I’m affectionate and enjoy being petted, but I don't require gobs of attention and can easily entertain myself with my chew bones while the family is away. I’m ready to meet you, so let's get this party started! East Coast people, inquire about me today! LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION? Click on the "More About 4 Little Paws" link. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Hello, East Coast people! My name is Gus, and I am a handsome white Bull Terrier mix with a few brown spots and green eyes. I’m about 18 months old, weigh 51 lbs, and I was dumped with my littermates in an apartment complex in San Antonio, Texas, when we were just babies. A resident took us in for the winter but then had to relocate, so 4 Little Paws Rescue happily took me in. Now, I’m living in a foster home, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on preventatives, and ready to hitch my wagon to a star! My foster mom says I’m a very nice boy with a medium energy level and a calm personality. I’m great with people, but I can be shy when we first meet. I’m friendly and playful with other dogs, curious but not aggressive with other animals, and don't mind sharing my food or toys with anyone. I love pets and affection, tummy rubs, doggy treats, and playing tug-of-war with either a rope or a stick. I love the outdoors and outdoor activities like going for walks or hikes, going anywhere in the car, sunbathing on a pretty day, or any fun activity or adventure, and I’m right there beside you, having a blast! I’m a good boy, only bark to alert, already housebroken, and I’ll go in a crate, but I’m not in love with it. At night, I sleep on a blanket on the floor, and other than that, I just need a bowl of food, someone to love, and some toys to play with, and I’m happy as a clam. My future looks bright, and I know there is someone out there right now looking for a dog just like me, so inquire today, and let's get this party started! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tigger, a high-energy bull terrier and pit bull mix born in late 2015,  is the friendliest, most fun-loving little guy. He absolutely loves everyone he meets. While he especially loves children he is better suited to older kids, not little ones.  He likes to be king of his castle, so he should be the only pet in his home. And his home should be in a quiet suburb with a fenced yard where Tigger can play and burn off his energy. He loves his people so much, he needs them to be home a lot.  If you are an experienced dog owner who can give Tigger the forever home he's looking for, fill out an application at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org   RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoptionGiven technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:34 am
