Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Jupiter Breed: Carolina Dog Sex/Age/Weight: Female/ estimated DOB 10/2018 /40lbs Vetting: Spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventatives. House trained/Crate trained: Yes and Yes. Her first experience with a crate was when she was with animal control, so she doesn't love being in one. Dogs/Cats: She has done well with male dogs, but has had personality issues with other females. She hasn't been cat tested, but can upon request. Energy Level: Her high energy side comes out when she wants to play. She will run and play tug-a-war with a maximum energy level, and she needs to play like this at least twice a day. But when she's done playing, she would love to just relax in the sunshine. Things that make me happy: Food and scratches, specifically butt scratches, and being with her human man. She loves her foster mom and is very protective of her, but she will always want to be a daddy’s girl. She is a terrible flirt and waits all day for an evening of snuggles with her foster dad. She loves her treats of raw carrots and green beans. She even knows the difference when given a choice and she will tell you which one she would prefer at that moment. And if you take the time to scratch her bum she will reward you by loudly purring. Things that make my humans happy: She is so smart. She knows how to give a high five, a regular five, and a double five aka a ten. She also knows No, Sit, and Speak and is working on lying down. She sticks to her schedule of eating and going to the bathroom outside, so as long as her human is consistent all will be well. Working on: Jupiter is still a bit wild when playing. She is not aggressive, but she doesn't always understand that humans don’t play the same way as dogs. She needs someone who can handle a dog who uses her mouth when playing. She won't bite hard, but there could be the occasional nip when your hand is too close to her end of her tug rope. She is also built like a furry little tank and she may jump on you when playing (she doesn't jump otherwise) and you’ll feel her compact weight and her nails. Before FAR: Jupiter lived her first two years on her own as a stray until she was picked up by animal services and was rescued by Furever After Rescue just in time to avoid being euthanized. She was likely never a domestic dog before she was rescued. She doesn't show any signs of having been mistreated by humans, but she will always be skittish around and wary of people. Special Notes: Jupiter is slightly skittish from having been on her own originally. She prefers the flight instead of fight reaction as her first instinct and will need her own special place to retreat to when she gets scared. She wants someone who will be patient with her and let her explore and understand what is expected of her. Ideal Family/Home: Because of her size and background, she wouldn’t be right in a household with younger children. She really needs a family that will be able to give her the love and attention she needs. She will want to sleep in the bed with you where she's not shy about being a bed hog, but she repays with sweet cuddles. She's good on a leash and loves a good walk, but not a long one, so she will need daily exercise through lots of playing. She would not be good in a home where her parents are gone 40+ hours a week. She is a special dog and needs a family that can appreciate her uniqueness. **I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Sheba Breed: Bull Terrier Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Female; estimated DOB 06/2018; 35lbs Vetting: Up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, spayed, and microchipped. House trained/Crate trained: Yes Dogs/Cats/Children: Dogs- I prefer to be the only dog. I love my humans! Cats - I tend to chase cats, so I would need to be in a home without any. Kids - I have been around small kids and done well, but I would do best with older kids. Energy Level: Medium to low. I love walks with my foster mom and I also love when it's time to eat. I get excited for both! Most of the time, though, I like relaxing, taking naps or snuggling with humans. Before FAR/My History: I was found as a pregnant stray when I came into Furever After. I had my puppies in the rescue and they all found their furever homes. I've been waiting for 4 1/2 years to find mine and I just know it's out there! Training Status/Commands I know: sit, stay, shake, down and high-five. Things that makes me happy: cuddles with humans, walks, food of any kind and sunbathing. I'm an expert at finding any spot of sun and soaking up all the warmth. Things that make humans happy: how loyal and affectionate I am, how quick I am to respond and listen and my sweet and sassy personality that can charm anyone. Ideal Family/Home: I would love a family that could give me lots of love and affection and is willing to meet my needs. I really am the goodest girl and if you give me a chance I can show you! Story
Hi my name is Benjamin i was rescued from a bad living situation. I am a very energetic and loving. I love to play with balls, toys and my favorite playing in the water. I was raised with 7 other dogs , so i don’t mind having a housemate to play with. I am extremely people friendly however i get very excited, so a home with older kids is better for me. However my foster mom is working with me to control my excitement. I am good on the leash and love walks. I am not food, toy or crate aggressive. However, I am very food motivated. I am crate trained. Another great thing is I will not run away from you, call my name and I will happily come to you. I am looking for a forever home with someone that wants their days filled with licks , adventure and most importantly unconditional LOVE!!! UPDATE: I have been training with my foster mom and have been doing very well …

Story
Hi my name is. Shadow I am ia 3yr old bully mix so I am told. I was rescued with my seven siblings from a poor environment. I love my siblings and get along with other dogs. I am crate trained and working on house training. My foster mom is working with me and my brother on basic training. However I am very food motivated. I am lover not a fighter. All want is a hug, kiss, pat or a nice belly rub. UPDATE : i have been training with my foster mom and been doing GREAT!!!

Story
Meet Luna, the adorable, perfect girl who looks like she was handcrafted out of sugar, sunshine, and pure wiggly joy! ✨ With her adorable spotted nose, floppy-perky ears, and that “I LOVE YOU ALREADY!!” face, she is the total package: beauty, brains, and boundless love. Luna is basically a professional snuggler who knows no stranger. If you have a face, she has kisses for it. If you have a lap, she has plans for it. She leans in close the moment she meets you and melts into attention like it’s her full-time job. Watch Luna’s personality shine in her video! https://youtu.be/l-2Ik2mJDk0?si=bYCa6Fr62JHQ0xOq Kid-approved? Absolutely. Luna passed her five-year-old friend test with flying colors—no jumping, just gentle love, soft wiggles, and flopping right into tiny laps for smooches. She immediately wiggled when she met a sweet kiddo, and she sat right on his lap, kissed his face, wiggled into his lap, and acted as if she had known him forever. She was practically born to be a family dog. And dogs? GIRL. Luna is the life of the dog party. She lives with a toy poodle gentleman and a 30-lb pittie queen at home, and she did fantastically in all of her dog meet-and-greets. She greeted politely on leash, no pulling towards the new friends. Off Leash, she glued herself to Cupid, a goofier submissive boy, like they were slow-dancing and playing chase when invited. With Harlen, a more high-energy gal, she got the zoomies and went full goofy wrestler mode—taking corrections and bouncing right back into happy play. With Peanut, a more chill, slower guy, she was thrilled to say hi, invited him to play, and respected his boundaries when he wasn’t feeling it. Luna’s dog vibe is “fun, friendly, and knows when to chill.” She would absolutely thrive with a medium-energy buddy who enjoys a good romp but also vibes on couch time. Cats? Luna was polite and curious. She’d sniff, wander off, come back, and repeat. She might chase if a cat zooms, but she was just young and playful during her test. An overnight cat test is recommended, but she’s already showing promising manners. Luna is a very well-mannered gal. She is veryyyy treat motivated, making her super trainable! She checks in on leash and is the perfect little girl to load up in the car for adventures. Since she is such a lovergirl, she would love a busy home, with lots of people coming and going. She could even be an apartment dog, with a fairly active family to get those zoomies out! She’s an excellent fit for: ✨ A home with a playful dog friend ✨ A family with kids ✨ A busy household with lots of visitors ✨ Someone ready for a sweet, loving, goofy young girl Luna is an affectionate marshmallow with a silly streak, a dog-social butterfly, a gentle kid-friend, and an all-around sunshine soul. She’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and wiggly love to her forever family. 💛 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
