Story
Ares is a two year old Pit Bull Boxer mix born on April 2, 2023 and he is SUCH a sweet boy. He is very affectionate very cuddly and honestly just wants to be by your side all the time. He really doesn’t like being alone and feels best when he’s close to his person whether that’s going outside together or just laying down for a nap nearby. He is extremely smart, very observant and very protective of the people he loves. He forms strong bonds and loves hard. He does well with kids but would need to be the only dog in the home. I’m not sure how he is with cats. Ares can be anxious and get stressed easily but he is very obedient and easy to handle with patience and love. He has so much potential and growing with the right guidance and especially the right training and someone willing to put time into him. This decision is being made with his best interest at heart and I just want him to go to a home where he is truly loved and cared for because he has so much love to give.

Story
This adorable boy is Bronco. He is a 10-week-old boxer mix puppy and weighs 13 lb. We expect he will be about 55 lb full grown. Bronco is at a foster home, not at our shelter. His foster says "Bronco is playful and always has a toy. He likes the snow and going outside. He is happy, confident and likes to explore. Bronco likes to be around people so he will follow wherever you go. He does not react to loud sounds like a blow dryer or blender. Bronco is typically quiet during crate time and sleeps through the night in his crate. He is not fully housetrained yet but within being here just 3 days, he goes to the bathroom every time we go outside. Bronco doesn't know commands yet, but he is highly trainable and very food motivated!" Bronco is vaccinated for age, microchipped and healthy. His adoption fee is $515 (includes neuter surgery). If you would like to meet/adopt Bronco, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-online-adoption-application/. Email daws@daws.org with questions.
