He is not a picky eater. We stick to just dry food in our house. A fenced in yard would be great for him to be outside. An apartment is not a good choice due to his size.

Hello I am Jasper, I’m a 4 yr old Boxer/Weimaraner mix (boweimar). I am seeking someone(s) with an active lifestyle or the space to let me burn my energy. My mom says I am a very smart boy, these are my highlights. -I’m fully potty trained and walk well on leash, my recall is about 60/40 off leash but definitely has potential for improvement.-I know a lot of tricks and I do them really well, I’m very food driven so I’m easy to teach. -I’m good with cats inside the house and I’ve grown up around senior cats and kittens; outside i wanna play but they don’t want to. -I don’t really care about most outside animals (birds, lizards, squirrels, etc) besides having a beef with ducks (Weimaraner). - I haven’t been around tiny children much but I like preteen/teenagers and up. -I also love playing with other dogs but I haven’t been around male dogs in 2 years.-I don’t like kennels but I’m find ina puppy proof space. -I am vetted but my shots expire soon, mom can help need be.

I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

There is a rehomeing fee, to help identify serious families. We purchased Henry from a breeder for 1100, and even adoption centers will run a couple hundred if not more - we want to protect Henry and also understand that adoption can be expense and we do want to make it accessible. So that he finds a loving home. He was recently neutered, also to ensure he wouldn't live a life of breeding, since he is pure with papers.

Sundae is a friendly dog whose owner was incarcerated, and she was abandoned at a reporter’s house where she gave birth. All of her puppies have been adopted and of course, Sundae is left behind looking for a forever home. She had a near death experience with a severe case of pneumonia when we first pulled her from the shelter. Sundae has recovered, and is now healthy and thriving. She is extremely sweet and loves to play. She's on the smaller side for her breed at about 35 pounds fully grown. Despite being a former mother, she is a puppy at heart.
