Story
Thor is a cutie, and super sweet and playful. He arrived at the shelter as a hungry lost boy with ID on July 28. His family decided not to come for him. We don't know how long Thor had been on his own, but he has missed more than a few meals and at just 36 pounds, needs to put on a little weight. He's happy to oblige and is treat motivated, but even in his deprived state, he'll sit and take the treat gently. Thor is about 3 years old. He is current on vaccines and neutered and will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Come meet this boy and fall in love. He's waiting in Run 411; use ID#660666. Thor looks so much better than when he arrived, see video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6MB6U3j2amE Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story
Diez once had a home with a person who loved him enough to look for him for a long time before giving up. Diez arrived at the shelter as a lost boy with ID, but his person, when contacted, was no longer in a position to care of him, though he said he had tried to find Diez for a year. He needs to find another person or family who would love him as much and more. Diez is well-trained - he knows sit, stay and lay down. Diez weighs 72 pounds, so he's a big boy, and he is about 4 years old. He is current on vaccines and neutered; he will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Come meet him in Run 46 using ID#662217. Story
Hi, I'm Sasha!Don't I have the cutest flippy-floppy ears?I've been told I'm the perfect companion. I'm a go-slow kind of lady, but after a few treats to coax me, I'm up for adventure! On a recent trip to the park, I enjoyed relaxing in the shade and snacking on some treats and peanut buttery. At a stop at the puppy bakery, I was very well behaved and politely picked out a few treats!I enjoy meeting new people and have good manners! On a recent outing, I only went potty outside. I would enjoy a few walks a day - and I'm looking for a family who would like to join me! Is that you?Love, Sasha P.S. I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I'm the perfect fit for your family!

Story
Phoenix was found with bloody legions all over her from a really bad skin infection. She was wandering in the heat and ready to collapse. Her foster mama found her and had nursed this pretty girl back to health. She was shy in the beginning but her personality is really coming out. She was initially not fond of men, but now is foster dad's shadow and likes to hang out with him while he works in his shed. She enjoys being outside and playing with her doggie siblings. Phoenix will be ready towards the end of August when her skin is clear and she is spayed. She is a big girl who seems to take everything in stride. Is Phoenix the love you have been looking for?

Story
Nova is a very very sweet, smart and snuggly girl. She was found a couple months ago and we have had her for about a month. We think she would do best in a home without other animals. She is truly an angel by herself, but when other dogs are involved she always wants to play and has not learned when to stop. The vet thinks she is about 10 months old, but we dont truly know for sure, and we dont know her breed specifically either. She is about 50lbs right now and the vet does not think she will grow much more. She is spayed and up to date on all of her shots. We would love for her to be in a loving home with owners who will take the time to continue to train her and get her the exercise that she needs. She knows all basic commands and is leash and crate trained.
