Wynter is a floppy eared 2 year-old bully whose best friends are squeaky toys. She does well with her foster brother, and loves to play, but is respectful when he communicates that he needs a break. She probably won’t do well with cats. Wynter loves to be on the couch while touching one of her humans. However, she will get up to follow the humans in hopes of getting some snacks. She will gladly curl up under a bed or couch when she needs some quiet time. City noise can be overwhelming for her, so she’s best suited for a calmer home in a quieter neighborhood. Parks are her happy place, and she loves sprinting around in wide-open grassy areas with her human. Wynter is really good in the car and is working on her leash manners. She is house and crate trained, and enjoys putting herself in “quiet time” in her own crate. Wynter does not seem to be the jealous or possessive type. She may find shoes and chewables irresistible, so a little preventative tidying goes a long way. Wynter is being fostered in Georgia. Our amazing volunteers will transport her to the right home. I'm located in Wisconsin: Flex is ready for his own home — and he really wants to be part of the pack. 🐾💙 This boy thrives in a doggy pile. He loves playtime, enjoys the company of both male and female dogs, and with slow introductions has done beautifully with an eclectic group of hounds. When he gets a little overexcited, he’s easily redirected and learning quickly. Flex is now pretty much fully integrated in his foster home. He’s using the dog door supervised like a pro, eats and sleeps in his x-pen, and settles nicely there when his people are out. He does get enthusiastic around treats and dinner (same, Flex 😅), but he’s actively learning to stay calm and wait his turn. He’s on the smaller side (35 pounds), which makes him easy to handle, and he’s quite adaptable. He is young, so he needs regular exercise — he loves fetch and tug — but he’s not over the top. Just a happy, playful guy who wants inclusion. And yes… Iris may or may not be putting the moves on him 🥰 Could he be a fit for older adopters with other dogs? Absolutely — as long as they’re active enough to give him walks and playtime. With structure, slow introductions, and a little guidance, Flex would love nothing more than to belong to his very own forever crew. He is located in Wisconsin, but we transport along the East Coast and Midwest for the right home.

I'm in IL: Sweet Lola Lollypup needs us again! At just 3 years old, this brave girl found herself “homeless” again — through absolutely no fault of her own. After her amputation, the resident bully in the home decided he wasn’t a fan anymore. Maybe it was the three legs. Maybe he just didn’t want to share. Either way, we weren’t willing to risk anything while Lola is still healing. So, as hard as it was, we removed her from Regina’s amazing foster home to keep her safe. She’s safe with seasoned foster Brian for now — but this is only temporary. Lola is a tripod, but don’t tell her that. She walks just fine, handles normal stairs like a champ, and keeps up with the best of them. We just need a home without crazy, steep flights of stairs while she continues to adjust and build strength. She is dog-friendly and playful, full of energy, and absolutely adores being with her humans. She wants her person so badly. She bonds deeply and loves wholeheartedly. Lola didn’t lose her leg. She gained resilience. Now she just needs a loving, stable home where she can finally feel safe, cherished, and home for good. She's located in IL but we transport along the East Coast and Midwest for the right home.
