Story
Third Coast Pets Alive! She has been great with people and children of all ages, and she is 100% a Velcro dog and she loves to be wherever you are. She is house trained and enjoys going for rides in vehicles. She is predatory with chickens and ducks. We are unsure about dogs and cats. She has shown some signs of predatory behavior around them, so it is best that she is the only pet indoors and outdoors. She really is an amazing girl, and she is extremely smart. She responds to commands including sit, lay, and shake. She is very gentle when taking treats from my kids and loves to cuddle with them. She would be a perfect dog for anyone who doesn't have pets or animals nearby and will allow her to be their constant companion. She is afraid of vacuuming and tires.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Dina is a sweet, independent girl who's been with us for over two years, patiently waiting for the perfect family to call her own. When she first arrived, Dina was a high-energy party pup who was all about having fun and exploring. Over time, she’s matured into a calmer, more laid-back companion who is happy to entertain herself when needed. Dina is a joy to walk – she’s easy to leash up and walks well without much pulling, making her a great companion for walks around the neighborhood. She has a low to medium energy level when loose in the play yard and is very treat-motivated. She takes treats gently from your hand, though she’s a little sneaky and may try to nab one before you’re ready to give it! While she may not know any tricks yet, she’s eager to learn and would love to show off her skills with some patience and positive reinforcement. She’s very treat motivated. Dina is barrier reactive towards other dogs. With a slow introduction face to face she gets along with them much better. She's a bit tense and awkward with other dogs at first, but as long as the other dog is patient with her and able to read her social cues she warms up really well and they’ll be running and playing together in no time. If you're looking for a laid-back, independent dog who’s ready to settle into a loving home and be your one and only, Dina might be the perfect fit. Come meet her today – she’s waiting for her happily ever after!

Story
This spayed female Bull Terrier is seeking a new home due to a major life change (divorce) and incompatibility with other dogs. She is affectionate, playful, and full of energy, with the classic Bull Terrier personality. She loves being with her people and thrives in an active home that can provide structure and daily exercise. She is good with children but best suited for older kids due to her strength and enthusiasm. She should not be with cats or other animals that are not dogs, as she has a strong prey drive and will chase cats and small animals. A secure fenced yard or consistent daily walks are recommended. She is loyal, intelligent, and deeply loving. With the right home, she will be an incredibly devoted companion.

Personality Roo is a very loving dog that gets along great with her foster home’s other 3 larger dogs. She loves to cuddle. She is full of energy and loves to run. She is doing fantastic with behavior, is crate trained, house trained and does well on leash. She is learning to fetch and will sit on command. A smart, cuddly, happy girl. Background Roo was found in September near Louetta Rd and Forrest Lodge Dr in north west Houston (Heatherwood Village Entrance). She willingly and happily got into her finder’s car. She was not chipped and had no collar when found. Has been fostered by her finder for many months as they attempted to locate a possible owner. She was listed on multiple lost /found pet social media pages and websites, but there were no responses. She was in good shape and overweight when found. Story
Meet Teddy 🤍 📍 Conroe, TX (transport is available) 🎂 ~8 years old Teddy (formerly “Bones”) didn’t come into rescue in good shape—he was found emaciated and dumped. But you wouldn’t know it now. He’s filled out, settled in, and turned into a genuinely happy, social dog who just wants to be part of someone’s life. He’s in that ideal stage—past the chaos, still playful, and easy to live with. He enjoys walks, follows his people around, and is more than content to crash on the couch when the day is done. 🐶 Dogs: Teddy likes other dogs and wants to interact. He lived for a month with a small dog and did well, and he regularly shows interest in meeting other dogs. That said—he’s a bigger dog with an enthusiastic, “let’s play” personality. He can come on strong, so he does best with dogs that are tolerant of that energy. He’s not looking for conflict—just maybe doesn’t always read the room perfectly. He would also do just fine as an only dog. 🐱 Cats: Unknown 🏡 Ideal Home: Someone who wants a friendly, involved companion and understands normal dog introductions and boundaries. A yard is a bonus, not required. ❤️ The Bottom Line: Teddy isn’t a project. He’s a good dog who got dealt a bad hand and bounced back. Now he’s ready to land somewhere he can stay.
