astro is a big sweetheart who loves to play, cuddle, and be part of the family. his story started with a little surprise — his mom was scheduled to be spayed, but before that could happen, a neighborhood dog managed to hop the fence, and soon after, she was expecting. before anyone realized, she was already showing, and astro was one of the beautiful pups that followed. his siblings have all found loving homes, and now it’s astro’s turn. he’s grown up surrounded by people — his parents work from home, and the kids are homeschooled — so he’s used to company, love, and plenty of attention. he’s happiest when he’s outside exploring the yard or enjoying the woods, but he also loves relaxing indoors and snuggling up close. astro would do best with a family that has time to spend with him and space for him to run and play. he’s a loyal, gentle boy who just wants to be loved as much as he loves back.

Meet Duke Duke is a 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd with an incredibly mellow, friendly, and goofy personality. He’s a calm, gentle dog who loves being around people and brings a ton of warmth to any home. It’s very hard for me to rehome him, but due to changes in my work and life schedule, I can’t give him the space, structure, and time he truly deserves. He’s an exceptional dog and deserves a home that fits his needs. About Duke: Duke loves going on walks, playing with his toys, and simply being near his people. He thrives when he has room to explore, a calm environment, and a routine. He would be best suited for someone (or a family) who is home often and has a large, fenced-in yard where he can roam safely. He loves being outdoors and loves being close to his humans. Duke seems to do well with kids and has a naturally gentle demeanor. He does not do well with cats and has a high prey drive, so a cat-free home is important. Meet Winnie! Winnie is another one of our babies who was found just wandering around a rural area in South Georgia. Locals reported seeing Winnie waiting at the bus stop for children each day but still no one ever came looking for her Winnie is a strikingly beautiful brindle girl, about 5 yrs old. She's very chill and would probably thrive as the Queen of her own Castle, but she does get along well with other dogs too. A nice quiet place to sun bathe outside and a comfy sofa with a soft blanket is what this lovely lady wants more than anything else! As is very common with most of the dogs we rescue from rural areas, Winnie did test positive for heartworm disease. RMG utilizes a slow kill treatment protocol studied by a veterinary cardiologist in Atlanta.
