Story
Meet our Labor Day Pups. Grace Lynn came to Barkville on August 29th, 2024. She was dropped off at our partner vet in Johns Creek for her intake vetting. Because it was Labor Day weekend she scheduled for her exam on Tuesday, September 3rd. To everyone&#39s surprise, when the vet tech came in on Tuesday morning, they were greeted by smiling Grace Lynn and her 9 beautiful puppies. This litter of 9 puppies (5 females and 4 males) was born on 9/2/2024. They are believed to be Anatolian Shepherd Mixes. When full grown, we expect these puppies to be medium to large size, weighing between 45 - 70lbs. They are all adorable playful puppies and will require patience and continued training as they mature. They are all sweet, friendly, and curious puppies always ready to explore and play. Their energetic nature is balanced by their love for cuddles, making them the perfect companion for any adventure or a quiet evening at home. These puppies are not just pets, they will be your friend, a confidante, and a source of unconditional love. Their playful spirit and loving nature make them the perfect addition to any family. Adopt one of Grace Lynn&#39s Puppies and bring home a loyal friend who will fill your life with joy and happiness. The Labor Day Pups will be available for foster to adopt starting in November 2024. BarkVille Dog Rescue will cover all their vet care, age-appropriate vaccines, their spay/neuter, and microchip. Once spay/neutered they will be ready to complete their adoption. Since these are young puppies, please consider the following: Housetraining, chewing, barking, crying at night, high energy level, nipping, socializing, training. For more information about one of the Labor Day Pups, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. or submit an application at: https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. Story
Hi! Meet our sweet, loving girl who has yet to be named. About a month ago my husband found her dumped at our farm about an hour outside of Atlanta. She has one good eye, and a deformed right paw with an extra paw pad. We have taken her to multiple vets to see if she needs surgery on her other eye and they have said that as long as it isnt hurting her theres not much they suggest to do. We love her so much already, but we have one full grown dog and we travel too much we can’t make it work for the long run. We are going to take care of her and love her until we can find her a permanent, happy home. Some info about her personality: she is spunky, sweet, loves to play and is great with our big chow-chow George. She also has spent time with our 9 year old daughter and is great with her as well. She is overall just a sweetheart and a big cuddly girl.

Story
Londyn is a rescue that me and my partner took in when she was around a week or two old. We've had her since September 2023. We are looking for an experienced individual that has worked with smart energetic dogs. Londyn is a dog that needs attention and tasks, otherwise she can be mischievous out of boredom. We no longer can take care of her due to how busy we are, we just don’t have the time to give her the attention she needs. We were flagged by our landlord for noise complaints due to her barking. She’s a very active and energetic dog that needs someone who can teach her how to use her smarts in good ways. A gorgeous dog with much potential to be a great family pet. We don’t have long to keep her in our apartment due to complaints. Please help us out, you won’t regret it.

Story
This is Tuxedo a.k.a Tuxe. He is a Great Dane mix. His birthday is July 9th 2023. He would love a home with another dog and someone who has to take him for walks and car rides. He does well with children. He is house trained and listens to commands like sit and stay ect. He needs time to adjust and warm up to new environments. He was boarded at a vet facility for a week and when I went to pick him up he was very stressed and was aggressive some and on guard and never wanted to go back into that vet care again. He didn’t want to take baths and he was afraid of small strings. I assume they abused him during his stay there. He seems to be afraid of adult males and needs to be slowly introduced and it takes a little while for him to trust them . He seems to be more comfortable with an adult female owner. he has stayed with relatives both male and female and he did warm up to them and became comfortable. It just takes some time and slowly getting him use to other people. He is up to date with all vaccines. He is very loving and he is a verbal dog and well let you know if something is wrong and if he wants to go outside or just wants to play. He is very playful. He loves to play with other dogs and go for walks. He loves attention and hugs and kisses. He loves to sleep with you and cuddle. My circumstances won’t allow me to keep him right now. My family and I would love to keep him. If someone is willing to foster him until I can find a house then I will come back and get him. I am willing to provide all food and vet cost and even come and visit if someone is willing to help. thank you, Lataya Bell contact:   Lataya Bell soambitious09@yahoo.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 22, 2024, 8:31 am
