PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. PADME AMIDALA, and her 4 children (PRINCESS LEIA, LUKE SKYWALKER, MATTIE and SYLVESTOR) were living with a lady and her family. The lady that found the mama cat and her 2 older kittens reached out to several rescues and was never successful. Well the lady made the mistake of letting PADME AMIDALA out and she had one other litter (that passed away) and the last 2 littles. We had originally only known of SYLVESTOR and his sister MATTIE (the older siblings). Needless to say, we came to the rescue with five cats. PADME AMIDALA is now ready for his FUREVER HOME. She is very cute and very laid back cat. She loves to be petted and loves her can food. Her eyes, ears and face are very round. She will need a quiet home with a lot of love and patience. She is a silly girl when she's settled in. PADME AMIDALA is BURMESE / BOMBAY MIX. She is about 2 years and 8 months old and is good with cats (but prefers to be alone) and is non-reactive to dogs. She has never been around young children. PADME AMIDALA currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ************************ NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS *********************** APRIL 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is at 4 pm - 9 pm. They are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the adoption interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ********** PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ********** If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. Blacky was given to senior husband, who passed away last month, given to him a birthday gift. Blacky was just a couple of weeks old kitten. Became inseparable with husband who loved and spoiled her. Blacky was at his bedside until he/owner passed away and stood watching him until he left. She keeps looking for him. We are downsizing and where we are moving to next, do not accept cats. The rest of us are allergic to cats and is affecting our health. She is very loving cat, used to have a seat by her owner and he fed her in the mouth from his meals. Seats on lap and be by owner side at all times. Blacky will be a great companion for elderly people. She preferred to be alone with the owner. Is very protective of her owner. If owner is ill Blacky would go looking for the other adult person in the house and meow until the other adult checks on ill owner. If we moved to a place where accept cats we will keep her.

Odie, born around February 27th 2023 with two brothers and a sister, is ready for his forever home! He and his siblings were born in a warehouse and I took them in when they were 5 weeks old. He is curious, loving, and cuddly. He loves to lay in his hammock and be held. He also loves to wrestle with his siblings. He is up to date on vaccines and flea meds. Who can give Odie the forever home he deserves?
