Story
Ruby Tuesday is a delightful 5 year old beauty eager to find her forever home. She has quite the `tail` of resilience, coming to us as a stray & then struggling to adjust to life in a shelter cage. Having the opportunity to join our Catio Crew cat-apulted Ruby Tuesday`s quality of life to new heights. Lounging in the sun, smelling the fresh air & exploring her surroundings have flipped the happiness switch within her. She now solicits attention, rubbing up against volunteers` legs & is truly fond of petting & snuggling. She enjoys playing, loves tasty treats, and though she coexists peacefully with the other Catio cats, she enjoys her independence and solo space. This sweet feline is long overdue to find her happily ever after home. We long to croon along with the Beatles, `Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday....Still I`m going to miss you.`This pet is available for adoption! Please apply online and visit during open hours: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Saturdays and Sundays

Story
Meet Opal, a five-year-old treasure who joined us at the beginning of 2021 from the SBEC. Opal is the epitome of a cuddle companion, thriving on snuggles and purrs. She adores being picked up and carried around, truly living up to her queenly status. Opal delights in belly rubs and enjoys soothing massages behind her ears and along her shoulder blades. Her loving nature is boundless; she returns affection a hundredfold! Opal is a playful, fun-loving feline with a particular fondness for wires. She embraces both her indoor comforts and outdoor adventures. While she enjoys occasional outdoor excursions to stretch her legs and explore, she’s content indoors and always returns promptly, usually within 20 minutes. Opal is looking for a loving and kind family where she can continue to thrive and share her immense capacity for love. Are you ready to welcome a royal cuddler into your life?

These pups are in Newport Beach, California too!

Story
An Overall Great Cat!We describe Cleopatra as a Bombay-look and call her “Cleo”. She is highly spoken of by her rescuer that says she is a rare “find” at a feral cat colony feeding station! She just sauntered right out of the trap after having been spayed instead of running away like a rocket like a wild cat. Who knows how she ended up out on her own but we are thankful that such a nice cat could find help and be rescued.   To people feeding feral cats, a tipped ear signals to the people feeding feral cats that the cat has been spayed or neutered. That’s why Cleo’s ear is tipped. If you are looking for a really sweet and wonderful cat that gets along with other cats and is easy going, affectionate and playful please inquire about her. She kneads her paws often showing her happiness to just be looking at you and is eager to enjoy your company or be included with your guests. All cats need time to adjust to a new home. Cleo may hide for a bit of time until she feels safe. But we are confident that she will adjust and become part of your family soon. STEPS TO ADOPTION:  I'm DiAnna and I can help you with information and arrange a meeting in the caregiver’s home.  However, we like to get to know the potential adopter before formalizing an application to discover if the cat of interest is a good fit. Some cats like getting all the attention and do best with people at home, some don't want to live with other cats and some don't like dogs and children. We want everyone to be happy! I know all the cats in our network and can speak with you about your search after I get to know you.  COVID has changed the way we do things so the interview process starts with you sharing in your inquiry about yourself, others in the home or others that visit regularly, current pets and about the ones that you have had in the past and where they are now. Your work schedule is important, and what lifestyle you plan for your pet; indoor only, indoor, but allowed out sometimes, indoor / outdoor.  I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you. I am available to speak with you by phone and help you with your search but after you introduce yourself.    Then we proceed to a formal application and we accept short video clips of yourself, others in the home and the areas of your home that the cat will have access to.  A LITTLE ABOUT US: “We Specialize in “Pet-quality, Friendly, Sociable Cats and Kittens that Live in Private Homes with People That Love Them!” You, too, could become a foster parent to a cat, or a kitten litter! Just ask! It is super rewarding and a nice way to get to know cats before you adopt! Community Animal Network believes that all young beings enjoy the action of playing with another. Kittens adopted in pairs with their BFF or, “equal energy playmate” are happiest when having friends to play with. Just like all young beings rough and tumble together making it fun to watch, too.  This kitty is being cared for by Community Animal Network, a non-profit organization founded by DiAnna Pfaff-Martin in 1996. C.A.N is a veterinary medical rescue with a vet internship program for aspiring veterinarians as young as 15 years old. The founder of Community Animal Network, DiAnna Pfaff-Martin, is very particular about the quality of raising the kittens with vitamins, proper diet. A board-certified feline specialist provides the animals with their veterinary medical care and Community Animal Network offers veterinary internships to young people as young as 15 that have aspirations of becoming a vet.  Feral kittens are tamed to "pet quality" and rescue cats that are shy are disclosed and termed, "rescue quality" with a lower placement fee. With all adoptions DiAnna Pfaff-Martin gives valuable information about cat care in a "feline pet-parenting consultation" to adopters. The most current information is made available about how to keep your cat healthy, pet foods, litters and how to make your cat more affectionate and her specialty is teaching, “How To Make Cats Happy!” The AVID microchip is implanted in every cat and the chips’ registration fee is included in the adoption and the animals come with a 30-day heath commitment and return policy. Story
The cat family was raised in a private home and well-cared for. ily!I'M JAVA THE SWEETEST KITTEN. I look like a Bombay breed cat. People say I am a gentle kitten with a mellow attitude and I know that I’m very lady-like. I’m told that I take after my mom with a calm personality. My sibling Daisy (Black & White with a cute mustache) is my best friend and she is really outgoing.  I let Daisy take the lead and she will run up to everyone and I’m always right behind her to say “Hi”, but I like to observe the scene for a moment before stepping in when meeting new people. I am very polite and let my sister Daisy begin eating first but when it comes to play, I am “hunting” my toys and run from one side of the room to the other practicing my “prey skills’ to get them! My favorite thing is to run and slide on the wood floor… “Wheee, What Fun!” When I’m not playing, I’m cuddling with my Mom Bella, or my sister. I like to be held and cuddled.  I’m sure when you meet me that you will agree that my fur is so soft and you will never want to put me down. Community Animal Network didn’t separate us from our mom like others do. I’ve had a good upbringing and been nurtured and have had a good healthy start with mothers’ milk and my mom was provided with good nutrition when she was pregnant and not found starving like so many other moms.   For more info, call or text DiAnna at 949-759-3646 or email at DiAnna@animalnetwork.org. MY SISTER IS DAISY: I’m Dolly and honestly, I am everyone’s favorite and they tell me that they love me. I’m a big hit on the Zoom calls and everyone loves my black and white pattern and black mustache and is talking about me! But I’m not just a great looking Kitten.  I have a lot of personality.  I’m always the first to run up and say “Hi” and I like to explore, have my belly rubbed and play with my sister who is another fun-loving kitten! She and I lay on top of the cat tree and hang over the edge and snooze.  I love to play with my sister Java who is another fun-loving kitten. But I also chase my tail when I get tired of playing with my toys. I’m just right for a really fastidious person because I like to have a clean box. I’ll be your best friend always and if you rub my tummy I will adore you! I'M THE MOM: I’m Bella and a beautiful female with sable coloring with longer fur. I started out with my family, but they moved and left me behind.  The very nice neighbor was 90 years old and she fed me, but I was all alone outside except when “the boys” came around…. and you know what that means!   RESCUE STORY: My caregiver passed away 3 days after my kittens were born and her son fed me, but the house was going to be sold and me and my gorgeous kittens had to move.  I’m finally inside and I love it since I was rescued by Community Animal Network and we are all safe in a foster home, now. I’m not a big cat, my fur actually makes me look bigger, but I have the “biggest” purr of them all. I love brushing and petting and I’ll follow you around for more loving.  I like to play chase with my kittens and zooming around the round is really lots of fun.  I’m looking for a home that would be “forever” that I can lay next to you and purr or we can play with the toys.  I’m just happy to be safe and be indoors with you.        August 14, 2023, 12:02 am

Story
The cat family was raised in a private homeI’M DAISY THE MOST LOVED KITTEN. Everyone tells me that I am their favorite and so I know that I am cute being black and white with my black mustache that everyone comments on! I like to be the center of attention and I’m a big hit on Zoom calls! People are always asking to adopt just me, but I love my sister Java and want to a home that would love us both! My sister Java lets me be the boss and I like that! But I’m not just a great looking kitten. I just want to love everyone! I’m always the first to run up to people and get my belly rubbed. I like to explore and pretend to hunt my sister and then we play chase. My sister Java is very special to me and I would like us to grow up together! The two of us lay on top of the cat tree and hang over the edge and snooze. If my sister is still sleeping and can’t play then I chase my tail and then I will play with my toys. I am looking for us to be adopted by a person that makes the time to take care of us just right! I’m a very clean kitten and I am fastidious about having a clean box.  If you rub my tummy then I will be your best friend always and I will adore you!
