Story
Rico & Tate McRae – Your Dynamic Duo of Fun, Affection, and “Helping” Meet Rico and Tate McRae, two outgoing, easygoing, high-energy kittens who are equal parts playful, affectionate, and hilariously “helpful.” If you’re looking for a bonded pair that can keep up with an active home—and keep you entertained all day long—these boys are your match. These two are play experts who easily clock more than an hour of play a day. They love chasing and carrying springs around, and Rico is absolutely obsessed with his wiggle worm toy. Both boys enjoy batting toys around on their own, but they’ll also leap at the chance to play with other cats or join in on whatever game you’re starting. When they’re not busy zooming, exploring, or “assisting” with your daily tasks, they’re seeking out affection. Rico is a face-licker and proud of it, while Tate is the lap-sitter of the pair, happiest curled up on you while purring away. They love following their humans from room to room just in case you need help—or supervision. Despite their playful energy, they have great balance: they’ll take plenty of snoozy daytime naps and sleep in bed with you at night like the sweetest little companions. Rico & Tate are: Sociable and easygoing Active, playful, and very toy-motivated Affectionate and people-oriented Intelligent and potentially easy to train Great with cats, dogs, and considerate kids Independent enough to entertain themselves, but always up for attention If you want kittens who bring laughter, joy, and a whole lot of heart into your home—while also “helping” with all your projects—Rico and Tate McRae would love to join your family. Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.  This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptFebruary 15, 2026, 12:20 am

Story
Affectionate, people-loving cat who enjoys long cuddles but also gives you space when you need it. He has an excellent temperament — calm, gentle, and easygoing — and truly enjoys being around people. Born March 2023, neutered, and indoor-only. He has no behavioral issues, is litter-box trained, healthy, and well cared for. An easy companion who fits naturally into daily life and would do especially well in a home looking for a relaxed, social cat.

Story
Cheeto is a sweet and affectionate 4-year-old cat who absolutely loves being around people. He has a gentle nature, especially with children, and is incredibly patient and well-behaved around our toddler. We also have an older cat and recently welcomed a newborn into our family. With two young kids and full-time jobs we’ve found it increasingly difficult to give both cats the attention and care they truly deserve. As much as it breaks our hearts, we’re hoping to find a warm, loving home for Cheeto where he’ll be cherished and well cared for. He’s a wonderful companion and would thrive in a home where he can be part of the family and receive lots of love. If you think you could be that home, we’d love to hear from you! P.S. Cheeto is also quite the little hunter. He’s always on the lookout and won’t let a single fly get past him!
