Story
Sasha and I chose each other when she was only 8 wks old! She has been a Godsend for me these past 9 yrs, as she returns the love you give her 10x over. Sasha has always been very affectionate, social, curious and loves kids and people! She does fabulously with other cats once she becomes friends but is not comfortable with dogs. Sasha will take a few minutes around any man she doesn't know before warming up, and still hides during thunder. She still has her claws, and has never had any health issues. She loves to snuggle, and if it is cold out, she will want to sleep with you. I have a new illness and thus we must now part. My furry baby girl has many more wonderful years ahead of her, and so much joy left to experience and give back too! My friends always describe Sasha in one word: sweet! Sasha is currently being fostered by my cousin and her teen daughters but I am happy to arrange and facilitate meet and greets!

Story
Spirit is a 5 year old cat who has been the only pet in the home since 3 months old when she was adopted from the Animal Humane Society. She has pretty serious anxiety and does not like strangers. She is fairly skittish and needs a while to warm up to people. She can be very sweet once she warms up to her caretaker but petting and cuddling is on her terms. She will need dedicated play time and patience with new environments and people. She is pretty independent and knows how to communicate her needs. She is not suitable around children unless the child can give her lots of space and is supervised. She has been around dogs but is not fond of them. She likes to sleep on the bed with owner and will meow when needing food or communicating something. She will hiss and bite if she feels threatened or scared. Patience is KEY. Preferable for an experienced cat owner or someone who can dedicate their time to working with her. She can be very sweet if given the chance.

Story
Piper has been a great part of life. She has been with me for the past 10 years. She loves human interaction and playing. She will cuddle and greet almost anyone. Since fully merging households, we have been trying to problem-solve for the past couple of years. We have come to the decision that if there is a better home for her, we are open to that. Right now we are not able to provide the attention she wants and play she needs. In the past she has lived successfully with other cats - she will need to be the dominate one. And other dogs that are already good with cats, low prey drive have been OK. She would do well with kids. She is declawed and spayed.
