Chespin is five years old, and was originally found in a farm field in northern Minnesota. She's been living in a moderately sized house and she normally keeps to herself. When she does want attention, it's just to come see what you're doing or to come be right next to you. She's very good with other animals, and is slow to meeting new people but warms up very quickly. Chespin is a very relaxed, and easy going cat that would make anyone's home that much better.

Hello my name is Charlemagne , I'm from Minnesota! From his foster: Charlie has taken a few months to fully warm up, but now spends most of the day lounging in the living room. He will wait patiently outside my bedroom door in the morning so I don’t forget to feed him. He meows politely, doesn’t jump on the counters, leaves the plants alone, and uses his litterbox well. He does not like to be picked up or to sit on your lap, but he loves being brushed and petted—even tummy rubs. I have had a couple very cat-savvy dogs overnight and he was good with each of them (a chihuahua and a golden retriever). He would probably do well with other animals as he seems more nervous about strange people than he was about the animals. I would not recommend him for a family with children as he doesn’t like unexpected noises and needs to have his personal space respected.
