Meet Jagger!Jagger is a handsome boy born in September 2023.Jagger’s first few months of life were spent in a bathroom with very little interaction, so the world still feels a little big and scary to him. When he came to us, he had to learn how to just be a cat. With time, patience, and love, Jagger has shown us that beneath his shy shell is a gentle, sweet soul.He’s still learning to trust fully, but every day he grows a little braver. Jagger is curious—especially if food is involved—and he enjoys playtime with wand toys or chasing his foster siblings. He does best with another confident kitty friend to show him the ropes and help keep him feeling secure. He also enjoys the company of dogs and would happily share his home with a gentle pup.Once he feels safe, Jagger will come to you for pets and scratches, and he loves to cuddle when he’s comfortable. His goofy, quirky side makes him such a joy to watch, and he’ll keep you entertained with his antics once he feels at home.Jagger’s perfect family will understand that he needs time, patience, and a lot of love to fully blossom. Meet Andujar Michelle born about February 2020. Andujar Michelle was part of a large rescue of over 35 cats and dogs. Their caregiver was an avid animal lover who sadly suffered from mental illness and ended up taking her own life. It was quickly obvious to us that she poured a lot of love into her pets. We couldn`t let them all go to the shelter so we were able to get them all into foster care!Andujar is a very sweet and quiet boy who wags his tail like a dog and loves to play. His favorite toys are stuffed catnip mice and the tunnel. He enjoys leaving the mice scattered about the house, tearing open the tummies, running through the tunnel with the mice, and leaving them in the water bowl to make catnip tea. He loves to be petted, but is shy at first and needs time to adjust. He likes to be in the room with you and next to you, but not on you. He is not a picky eater, and enjoys dry and wet cat food, not so much treats. He gets along well with other cats, usually being the less dominant cat. He does well around dogs, almost automatically unfazed by his foster’s dog. So, he’s be fine with another friendly pet. He would do well in a house with other cats, but also in a house where he is the only cat, because he usually plays alone with his mice. He enjoys sunbathing on the sun porch. Andujar is also quite the night owl, usually sleeping most of the day, and playing all night. He is litter box trained and very sweet. Story
Juniper was taken as a kitten by a person who had a grown cat that seemingly did not like other cats. Unfortunately, after trying a year plus, her cat would not be nice or even co-exist with Juniper so he was put in a bedroom most of the time by himself. I was afraid he might never be friendly to people or other animals but especially to other cats since he was only around the hostile one. He has surprised me and is now around my 3 cats and 3 dogs without a problem. He is leary of the dogs and cats but does not hiss or go after them and he plays with my female cat Tinkerbell. He loves attention and purrs and likes toys. He is learning to use my cat door. He is 1.5 years old and has been fixed and has all his shots. I would suggest he join a family with a cat or dog that is docile and friendly. I wouldn't want to put him back in the same situation he was in before. Please give me a call to arrange a visit. He rides Well in a cat carrier in the car.
