Story
Chandler is solid black with beautiful gold eyes, like Bombays. He plays hard with his buddy Mousetro for short periods of time and then seeks out affection and cuddles from the foster mom. He is sweet and laid back. He would do well with someone who is home a lot. He hasn't been around dogs or young children. He has been best buddies with Mousetro since they were only weeks old, so we'd like to see them go to the same home. Chandler is currently in a foster home. If you have any questions, please email cowtownpets@gmail.com. If you are interested in applying to adopt Chandler & Mousetro, please submit an online application at cowtownpets.org. Chandler has been neutered and microchipped, shots are up-to-date, had wormer and flea prevention. The adoption fee for the pair is $170 + tax.

Story
Tres is a sleek, shiny black panther that loves to race across the room, chasing anything from a piece of lint to jumping in a box or leaping in the air to catch a shadow. He's very shy with people but is curious, affectionate and ready for back scratching when he sees me. Tres would do well in most homes, but his new people need to allow him time to adjust. He also might be more comfortable with another cat or small, friendly dog buddy. He is very independent, active and likes to interact with our rat terrier. He puts up with the periodic grooming sessions that the dog believes are needed (the dog thinks she's his groomer). Tres knows when it's chow time and races to the feeding line. He hasn't been exposed to children but would do well as long as they give him time to adjust. I believe he will be a cherished and beautiful pet for a family. Born 5/3/2024 Tres, his siblings and mama were discovered on a patio when the kittens were only a few weeks old. Water and food were put out for them but they were worried the dogs would kill them. They were trapped, neutered and socialized over a few weeks. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!

Story
I picked up Charley outside of my apartments about a year and a half ago. He was a stray but was immediately super friendly. I let him live with me and I got him neutered and chipped. Since then, I have gotten married and now my wife and I live together with her cat. Charley and her cat do not get along at all. Charley is the aggressor in the situations, and we have not been able to fix the situation. We tried the Jackson Galaxy method but it has not worked. He is an amazing and loveable cat…just not with other cats. He comes up and will snuggle with any human though. He is a big foodie and enjoys a variety of foods. You will also need to be comfortable with Charley cuddling with you constantly. He loves to be on you or near you as well. We would love for Charley to find an amazing person or family that can appreciate him the way we do, but ideally not have other animals. That is unless you are very experienced. We think Charley is about 3 years old.

Story
This sweet girl's name is Voodoo. I got her when she was just a tiny kitten. She will be 8 years old in March. She's a very sweet girl but living in a house with other animals has caused her to be very stressed out. I feel that she will do better in a home with no other dogs, cats or small children. She makes the perfect lap cat and will take all the attention she can get!

Story
We saved Spooky as a little kitten from the ice and snow the winter before last. She gets along great with our other cat and 3 big dogs. We recently had to move to an apartment and arent allowed to have her due to max pet policy. Looking to find her a good home. She does scratch her cheeks with her back legs due to an itching problem and sometimes pulls some hair out in the process. The vet has said it’s just cat allergies. She’s a great cat and she needs a good home!

Story
Nelly is about 8 years old and has been an amazing companion, we just can’t keep her due to allergies in the home and a new baby on the way. She is great with other cats, doesn’t love dogs, but loves cuddles and attention. She is the sweetest girl and we want her to have the best life and home. She is a long haired Bombay and is all black with green eyes. She is so beautiful and we love her so much just can’t give her the attention she wants and deserves.

Story
Juniper was taken as a kitten by a person who had a grown cat that seemingly did not like other cats. Unfortunately, after trying a year plus, her cat would not be nice or even co-exist with Juniper so he was put in a bedroom most of the time by himself. I was afraid he might never be friendly to people or other animals but especially to other cats since he was only around the hostile one. He has surprised me and is now around my 3 cats and 3 dogs without a problem. He is leary of the dogs and cats but does not hiss or go after them and he plays with my female cat Tinkerbell. He loves attention and purrs and likes toys. He is learning to use my cat door. He is 1.5 years old and has been fixed and has all his shots. I would suggest he join a family with a cat or dog that is docile and friendly. I wouldn't want to put him back in the same situation he was in before. Please give me a call to arrange a visit. He rides Well in a cat carrier in the car.

Story
Someone was attempting to abandon Jamo at a gas station, so my husband took him home. We are having to move & will not be able to take him with us. Jamo is playful, cuddly, gets along with cats & dogs, and he tolerates children. Jamo is an indoor/outdoor cat. He enjoys laying in the sunshine on our back patio. He stays in the back yard and will meow at the door when he is ready to come back inside. He currently uses an automatic litter box but can also use a regular litter box. He is probably about 2-3 years old. He isn’t afraid of new people. We would like Jamo to go to a home with other animals as he enjoys playing with other cats. He has been around children & just does not engage with them. Jamo is a great cat & we hope to find him a great forever home.
