Story
Meet Bynx!Bynx is a beautiful 10-month-old cat who came to us through no fault of her own. She’s feeling a bit shy here at the shelter, but her previous owners shared that once she’s had time to warm up, her true personality shines.Bynx was an inside-only cat, is litterbox trained, and is both playful and outgoing in a home environment. She also has a wonderfully relaxed side, making her a nice balance of fun and calm. With a little patience and love, Bynx will blossom into a sweet, affectionate companion. If you’re willing to give her a little time to settle in, Bynx will reward you with her playful charm and gentle affection.

Story
Marie is a sweet, gentle cat we’ve had for almost 10 years. We found her as a 6 week old kitten in the trash, and she has always stayed very small, almost kitten-sized. She loves to knead/make biscuits, enjoys the company of other cats, and has lived peacefully with two other cats for years. She has never bitten or scratched our children and is not aggressive at all. Over the years, as we’ve had three young children, Marie has become increasingly anxious and withdrawn in our busy household. She spends much of her time hiding in corners or even in her litter box, and it feels like she’s lost a lot of her personality due to the stress and chaos of a young family environment. With an upcoming move, we worry the transition will make her even more anxious and unhappy. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we truly believe Marie would thrive in a quieter, calmer home, ideally with older children or no children, where she can feel safe, relaxed, and loved again.
