Burmese kittens & cats in Suffolk, Virginia

I don’t know her breed at all, but It’s my mother in laws cat…she recently moved in and is causing my cat to act out…I need to find her a new home asap

Marcelene is a six-year-old Burnese mix, the big sister and boss of the house. We got her as a kitten in Germany, and she has since been through 2 moves with us. She's very friendly and loves most strangers after a 30 minute adjustment period. She also loves petting, is not afraid to be vocal when she wants your attention, and will generally always like to be in the room with you, if she isn't already sitting on your lap or laying with you in bed She currently lives with 2 other cats and is a wonderful big sister to both, she does a fantastic job grooming and cuddling with them. I am forced to work very far from home, and my spouse can no longer adequately care for the cats, so Marcelene needs someone special who can give her the extra love she'll need after being separated from her family. She is also suffering from a very bad case of fleas, and has over-groomed her entire lower body as a result. She needs someone who can give her the care she needs to be a happy chunky kitty again.

Meet Asteroid Asteroid was only 8 weeks old with a severe upper respiratory infection when he was found in someone’s yard. Unfortunately his finder couldn’t care for him, so he was surrendered to rescue. When he got here, he was terrified and very convinced that he was going to be hurt. Even gentle touches made him melt into a frozen puddle of terror. Asteroid has come a long way, but definitely has farther to go. He’s comfortable in the house, fully litterbox trained, loves playing with the other kittens, but he’s still very concerned about people getting close to him. He wants to love, sneaking into bed at night for secret snuggles and accepting gentle pets, but he’s still scared of being cornered. We don’t know what he went through before he was found, but with his level of fear, you always worry about the worst. Asteroid needs a quiet home to learn that people are actually nice and that snuggles are freely offered and don’t have to be secret! The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below. Tigger is a 15 year old female cat that has been in the same home the entire time. Unfortunately her owner has gone to a nursing home and can no longer care for her. She has experience with other cats, and is fine. She does not like visits to the vet or riding in the car, but at home she is docile. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and had a recent check up and a clean bill of health.
