Meet Sprout 🌱 Sprout is the definition of mellow. This low-energy sweetheart is happiest when she’s close to her people — preferably leaning into you or curled up in your lap soaking up all the love. If you’re looking for a calm, steady companion to relax with at the end of the day, Sprout is your girl. She’s wonderfully family-friendly and gets along great with both dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet household. Sprout knows “sit,” is very food motivated (which makes continued training a breeze!), and responds well to gentle corrections. She’s eager to please and enjoys learning — especially when treats are involved. With her soft presence and affectionate nature, Sprout brings a peaceful, loving energy wherever she goes. If your home is ready for a sweet lap dog who just wants to lean in and be your little shadow, Sprout can’t wait to meet you.

Meet Waffles – the perfect mix of cuddle bug and playtime champ! 🧇💛 Waffles is a medium-energy sweetheart who knows how to strike the perfect balance between zoomies and snuggles. She’s a total social butterfly who loves making new friends wherever she goes — whether they have two legs or four! She’s great with dogs, good with cats (though she may try to spark a playful chase now and then), and does wonderfully with kids, making her an ideal family companion. When it’s playtime, Waffles brings her A-game. She’s a classic “wrestler” who enjoys romping and tumbling with her dog friends, always keeping it fun and friendly. Her playful spirit is contagious, and she’s happiest when she’s part of the action. But don’t let her playful side fool you — Waffles is also a certified lap dog. She loves to lean in for affection and will happily curl up beside you after a day of fun. Whether she’s making new friends at the park or snuggled up on the couch, Waffles just wants to be close to her people. If you’re looking for a family-friendly pup who can keep up with playtime and melt into your lap afterward, Waffles is ready to be your new best friend!

Story
Meet Willow — A Sweet, Sensitive Soul Ready to Bloom Willow is a 1.5-year-old, 10-pound white terrier mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit just waiting to shine. Though timid at first and easily overwhelmed by busy or loud environments, once she feels safe and bonded, she blossoms into a snuggly, affectionate companion who will excitedly jump up for attention and melt into your arms. Her silly and confident side truly comes out when she's with other dogs — she absolutely thrives in the company of playful canine friends. Willow has a strong need to play and would do best in a home with a well-matched, active dog companion and a secure yard where they can run and romp together. She’s dog-door potty trained and enjoys the independence to go outside to play as she pleases. Willow also rides well in the car using a booster seat and walks nicely on leash, especially when she has another dog to follow. Because she can be fearful of children, Willow is best suited for an adult-only home. While she hasn’t lived with cats, we have no reason to believe she wouldn’t do fine with a calm feline friend. Willow will need an adopter who is experienced with nurturing shy or sensitive dogs. Patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement will be essential. A clear post-adoption transition plan tailored to her needs — including time to decompress, daily structure, mental enrichment, and continued socialization — will set her up for success. If you’re ready to earn the trust of a timid pup and watch her blossom into the joyful dog she’s meant to be, Willow may be your perfect match. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application using the link below. Our team will carefully review it to determine if you are a suitable match for the dog you are interested in. If deemed a good fit, the foster parent will reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet or seek additional information. In the event your application isn't accepted or might be a better fit for another dog, we will provide feedback and suggest alternative matches. Your application remains active for 90 days, allowing consideration for other dogs in our care. Simply email us if there is another dog you would like your application to be applied to. Story
Gondo is a charming 4-year-old schnauzer–terrier mix who came to us from a hoarding situation in the Central Valley. Despite a rough start, Gondo is showing just how much potential he has and is blossoming more every day in foster care. Gondo is a smart, curious little guy and a fast learner. He’s currently working on commands like sit, up, and off—and he’s picking them up quickly. He can be a bit of a climber (countertops beware!), but with clear boundaries and guidance, he’s eager to please and learn the rules. He has big opinions about food and definitely knows what he likes! His favorites include frozen yogurt, chicken broth, and Royal Canin kibble—great motivators for training and bonding. Gondo does well on leash and enjoys slow, treat-filled walks where he can sniff and explore the world at his own pace. He’s happiest wearing a harness that slips over his head and clips underneath. Stairs are a bit of a question mark for him—sometimes he’s hesitant, sometimes confident—so a home that’s patient and observant as he figures that out would be ideal. During the day, Gondo does wonderfully in an office or work-from-home environment, happily relaxing with short walks sprinkled throughout. In the evenings, his playful side comes out with bursts of energy—he especially loves amusing himself by playing with his reflection in mirrors! With structure, patience, and love, Gondo is going to be a loyal, entertaining, and deeply rewarding companion. He’s ready for a home that will continue building his confidence and help him shine. 💛

Story
Honey is a darling little Cairn Terrier mix who was found stray in Tulare County alongside her sister, Maple. While her early days were uncertain, this sweet girl is now safe and ready to find a forever home where she can truly blossom. Honey is gentle, loving, and just slightly shy when you first meet her. She takes a moment to feel secure — but once she does, her soft, affectionate personality shines. There’s something incredibly endearing about the way she looks to her people for reassurance and quietly soaks up love. True to her Cairn Terrier roots, Honey is: ✨ Bright and observant ✨ Loyal and devoted ✨ Brave in her own gentle way ✨ Small but full of quiet spirit She gets along beautifully with other small dogs and truly gains confidence in a group setting. Honey does best with a canine companion and would likely thrive in a home with another friendly small dog to help her continue building confidence. Honey doesn’t need the spotlight — she just needs patience, kindness, and a family who will let her grow at her own pace. In return, she’ll offer deep loyalty, sweetness, and a lifetime of gentle companionship. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted little girl who will reward your love tenfold, Honey is ready to find her forever home. 💛
