Story
It’s hard to imagine how a tiny, loving soul like Lil Frankie Boy—a Cairn Terrier/Brussels Griffon mix—ended up wandering alone down a neighborhood street, only for his owners to simply say, “just take him.” Thankfully, a kind young couple couldn’t turn away and stepped in to help, reaching out to Critter Cavalry Rescue, who welcomed him with open arms. From the moment he arrived, it was clear this little guy is something truly special. At just a year old and under 10 pounds, Frankie is the perfect blend of adorable and intelligent. He has a bright, expressive nature and carries himself with that charming, alert curiosity that makes you feel like he understands everything around him. He gets along beautifully with other small dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and seems to carry a quiet joy wherever he goes. Whether he’s happily trotting by your side or curled up close soaking in affection, Frankie is all about connection. He loves to snuggle, give sweet kisses, and simply be near his people. There’s something incredibly comforting about his presence—like he knows just how to make a house feel like home. Frankie’s story could have ended very differently, but now he has the chance he always deserved—a loving, committed forever family. If you’ve been searching for a small companion with a big heart and an even bigger capacity to love, this little boy may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. To learn more or apply to adopt Frankie, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.Five year-old Karen terrier Shih Tzu mix maleEmail jetta.elliott@att.net This is a little Rufus. He is the most adorable little guy. We think he’s terrier and Shih Tzu mix. He may be about five years old. We do not know his age he came With no background. He is the cutest little beggar. Loves car rides. He does have a heart murmur, but it doesn’t seem to slow him down as he will chase my car full speed about a mile down the dirt road. He is currently in Harrison, Arkansas, but would be brought to via other rescue network transport.April 3, 2026, 11:06 pm

Story
Welcome Boscoe to CCPAL Rescue. Boscoe is a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier mix with maybe Schnauzer. He is a lower energy and a little shy. His teeth are white and clean as his adult teeth haven’t been in too long. He is good on a leash and bigger than the other two at 15 pounds. He has nice long legs so he would be a great walking companion. He is very content being beside someone and doesn’t have to be in your lap. He came from a homeless person that had about 6 dogs. The homeless person had rescued all as strays. A good Samaritan stepped up to help and called CCPAL Rescue. CCPAL took in all the homeless person’s dogs except one she wanted to keep. We will be vaccinating them and spaying them to get them ready for their forever home. This boy is not a shedding dog and is very very affectionate. He would probably look Schnauzer if he had the cut. His coat is a little course and not as soft as the schnauzer coat. He would be fine around kids but I think her best home would be with a home that someone wants a lap dog and a quieter home. He would be a great one or two person dog. He will be great company and will not require too much exercise. A small condo type yard would work for him. He is good in a crate and with other dogs. He is more vocal than his sister Merry. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transportation fee is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
