Story
Stumpy is tiny, scruffy, and completely irresistible. She looks like a little storybook puppy come to life, with her adorable scruffy coat and her small, delicate frame—but what really makes her unforgettable is her incredibly sweet and loving personality. Stumpy is the kind of pup who just wants to be close, always ready for cuddles, always soaking up affection like it’s her favorite thing in the world. She may be small, but her heart is huge. Stumpy has a gentle, loving nature and a soft way about her that makes everyone instantly fall for her. She enjoys playtime, especially with toys or other gentle pups, but she’s not overly wild—she prefers sweet, happy moments and lots of snuggles. She would be perfectly content curling up in your lap, feeling safe and loved. Watch her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/Ud_wjpnRVxM?si=TvPfD3cL1tjlkw6x At just about 5 months old, Stumpy is still very much a baby, and she’s looking for a forever home where she can grow up surrounded by love and care. Her tiny size and scruffy cuteness make her extra special, but it’s her affectionate, tender personality that truly makes her shine. She’s going to be the most devoted little companion for someone who wants a soft, cuddly best friend. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69e2451f361f9b07d104173a Questions? Story
Hi, I’m Thea, and I’m hoping you might be the one I’ve been waiting for.I was found roaming the streets of Tennessee with my friend Ross. Sadly, no one ever came looking for either of us, and now we find ourselves searching for something new—a forever family to call our own. Ross and I aren’t bonded, so I’m free to start my next chapter either as your one-and-only or with another friendly dog in the home.I’m a low‑key, gentle girl who truly enjoys the simple things in life. A sunny day spent watching the birds and bees, hanging out while you garden, or curling up nearby while you watch TV sounds just perfect to me. I don’t need big adventures—leisurely walks, quiet companionship, and time together are more my style. One thing you should definitely know about me: I love treats! I’m very food‑motivated and always excited for a tasty reward (or two). More than anything, though, I’m ready to give and receive lots of love. I’ve already known what it’s like to be lost and worried, and I’m hoping to never feel that way again. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion who will happily share life’s peaceful moments with you, I might just be your girl. Please give me the forever home I deserve, so I can finally stop wandering and start belonging.Love,Thea 🐾If interested in Thea, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com.Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption:Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, includingRabies, DHLPPBordetella (Kennel Cough)Heartworm TestFecal Test, DewormingMicrochipFlea and Tick PreventionHeartworm Prevention.Spay/NeuterAll dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. Story
Bacca is a 2.5 month old Cairn Terrier mix with the perfect blend of scruffy charm and playful energy. With a Blue Heeler dad and a 10 pound Cairn Terrier mix mom, he’s expected to stay on the smaller side but brings a big personality wherever he goes. Bacca and his sibling were found on the side of the road, but you’d never guess it from his happy, loving spirit. He’s curious, smart, and already showing that loyal Heeler side, while still being a cuddly little terrier who loves attention. Bacca enjoys playing, exploring, and then crashing in your lap when he’s worn out. He would do great in a home ready for a fun, affectionate puppy that will grow into a devoted companion. Bacca is being fostered in TX but can be transported after adoption. You can apply directly for Bacca by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-854 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Welcome Boscoe to CCPAL Rescue. Boscoe is a 2-year-old Cairn Terrier mix with maybe Schnauzer. He is a lower energy and a little shy. His teeth are white and clean as his adult teeth haven’t been in too long. He is good on a leash and bigger than the other two at 15 pounds. He has nice long legs so he would be a great walking companion. He is very content being beside someone and doesn’t have to be in your lap. He came from a homeless person that had about 6 dogs. The homeless person had rescued all as strays. A good Samaritan stepped up to help and called CCPAL Rescue. CCPAL took in all the homeless person’s dogs except one she wanted to keep. We will be vaccinating them and spaying them to get them ready for their forever home. This boy is not a shedding dog and is very very affectionate. He would probably look Schnauzer if he had the cut. His coat is a little course and not as soft as the schnauzer coat. He would be fine around kids but I think her best home would be with a home that someone wants a lap dog and a quieter home. He would be a great one or two person dog. He will be great company and will not require too much exercise. A small condo type yard would work for him. He is good in a crate and with other dogs. He is more vocal than his sister Merry. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transportation fee is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
