Our adoption center & Spay Clinic is open by appointment with approved application. We are located at 571 NE 44th Street, the NW corner of Prospect (44th) and 6th in Oakland Park, FL. Our application is available online: www.animal-aid.com where you can also view all of our adoptable dogs and cats. Hi- my name is Rue. I'm an adorable little scruffy terrier estimated at 2 years old and weighing around 12 lbs. I appear to be a Cairn and/or Border Terrier mix, but that is my rescue's best guess. I was surrendered by my owner with 3 other buddies because my owner couldn’t take care of us any longer. We were in pretty ruff shape and very scared! All the great people here at the rescue have spent the last two months helping us learn how to trust humans and be good girls. I am a little shy at first; but once we get to know each other, I am very sweet and cuddly! I like playing with toys and walk pretty good on leash now. I get along quite well with other dogs, and have been good with the kittens here at the rescue too.My $450 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip.If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt.If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog. Frankie (2-year-old Yorkie) and Darrow (4-year-old terrier mix) are being rehomed after their owner became very ill very suddenly. This wasn’t an easy decision, and these two have already been through a lot together — which is exactly why we’re hoping they can stay together. Frankie and Darrow are often found spooned up together. Frankie has been Darrow’s little emotional support buddy ever since Darrow came from a very sad and scary investigation a couple of years ago. Frankie gives him confidence, comfort, and a sense of safety — and it truly shows. &#226&#156&#168 About Frankie: Frankie is cute as a button and FULL of personality. He loves to play, loves attention, and would happily be pet and cuddled 24/7.
