Story
Bitty Bob is proof that you don't need to be a big dog to have a big personality. This scruffy little guy has mastered the art of making people smile. Maybe it's the adorable beard. Maybe it's the way he gets the tiniest little zoomies when you wiggle your feet at him on the couch. Or maybe it's the fact that Bob seems genuinely thrilled just to be included in whatever you're doing. Whatever the reason, this little dude has a way of making himself impossible not to love. Watch his video and prepare to fall for this scruffy sweetheart: https://youtu.be/BP3NEqKQ7IQ?si=uttp8HFuznE1z0Sv Bitty Bob is approximately 1.5 years old, weighs around 13 lbs, and we believe he may be a Terrier mix. With rescue it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed or age. One of our favorite things about Bob is how happy-go-lucky he is. He's sweet, silly, easygoing, and always seems to be in a good mood. He isn't a dog that's constantly looking for trouble or trying to entertain himself. Honestly, he'd much rather spend time with his people. Give him a little attention, shuffle your feet, do a dramatic jazz hands performance on the couch, and suddenly Bob is off doing his little man zoomies. It's absolutely hilarious and one of those things that never gets old. Bob has done well with dogs both his size and dogs several times larger than him. He's not the type that's looking to wrestle all day or be the life of the dog party. He's more of a distinguished little gentleman. He's happy to coexist, hang out, and be part of the group. If another dog is being a little too much or forgets that Bob is approximately the size of a loaf of bread, he'll occasionally give a low growl as a polite reminder to respect his personal space. Beyond that, he's very tolerant and generally just happy to be included. He also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. Bob did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also seemed to feel comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Bob to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! When it comes to training, Bob is doing great. He's crate trained and with a little gentle encouragement he'll walk right into his crate. Once he's in there, he's generally very quiet and settles down nicely. He's also doing really well with potty training and continues to improve every day. Like any dog adjusting to a new environment, he'll need consistency and routine, but he's already well on his way. Bob enjoys treats and takes them gently from your hand. Toys aren't really his thing, at least not right now. He's much more interested in interacting with people than he is with a pile of squeaky toys. If given the choice between a toy basket and hanging out with you, he's picking you every single time. One of the best things about Bob is how adaptable he is. We can easily see him thriving in an apartment, condo, townhouse, or traditional home with a backyard. He doesn't strike us as a dog with a long list of demands. He's simply looking for a person or family to share life with. Someone to go on walks with, relax on the couch with, and laugh at his goofy little zoomies. If you're looking for a well-rounded companion with a scruffy face, a sweet personality, and enough charm to make everyone who meets him smile, Bob might just be your perfect match. We are willing to test Bitty Bob with anything you need in order to ensure its match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Meet Brea Female DOB: June 05, 2025 Weight: 14 lbs Breed: Cairn Terrier / Poodle Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Brea is a sweet, playful young girl who is full of life and always ready for her next adventure. At 1 year old, she has the perfect balance of puppy-like enthusiasm and growing maturity. She loves spending time with her people, exploring her surroundings, and making every day a little brighter with her cheerful personality. Brea is affectionate, social, and eager to be part of the action. Whether she's playing, going for walks, or cuddling up after a busy day, she enjoys being close to her family and thrives on companionship and attention. As a Cairn Terrier / Poodle Mix, Brea combines the intelligence and trainability of the Poodle with the spirited, confident personality of the Cairn Terrier. This mix is often known for being smart, affectionate, curious, and highly people-oriented. Brea will benefit from both physical exercise and mental stimulation to help keep her happy and engaged. Brea would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and playtime Continued training and guidance Mental stimulation and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being Young dogs require time, patience, training, supervision, and financial commitment as they continue developing into well-balanced adult companions. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Brea will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, dogs like Brea blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Brea will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Regular grooming and coat maintenance Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because of her Poodle heritage, regular grooming and coat care will be important to keep her comfortable and healthy. Consistent veterinary care, emotional stability, proper nutrition, and daily companionship are all essential to helping Brea thrive in her future home. Brea is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside.
