Story
FOR ADOPTION: Luna Luna is an adorable, petite 10-month-old female looking for a fun and understanding forever family. This little cutie came into our care when her family moved and could not keep her. When she first arrived, she was confused and scared, which led to her being a little reactive with us. Now that she has settled in, Luna is a sweet and affectionate girl. Her Personality She enjoys being held, cuddled, and playing with her toys. Luna is not as high-energy as some of our other young cats, but she still thoroughly enjoys chasing balls and throwing around her softer toys. Social Life Cats: Luna has been good with the other cats she has met so far and would love to find a family with a feline friend for her. Dogs: She has had limited experience with dogs but was non-reactive toward the dogs we’ve introduced her to so far. Children: Luna enjoys friendly children but may be best in a home without toddlers so she can have the space she needs to settle in before getting snuggled. Ideal Home & Health Luna would do well indoors only, with a catio, or indoor/outdoor in a safe environment. She is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on parasite control. If you've been looking for a fun little cat, apply today at www.nwas.ca for a chance to meet LUNA.

Story
FOR ADOPTION: JOSIE JOSIE is a sweet, approximately 8-year-old female looking for a loving home full of snuggles. This lovely lady was sadly left behind in an apartment when her owner moved; luckily, the landlord noticed her and contacted us right away. What little information we have regarding Josie comes from her previous tenancy agreement. Personality & Traits Despite her ordeal, Josie has been the gentlest and most loving cat since the moment she arrived at NWAS. She starts "making biscuits" the second she sees you and will choose pets and snuggles over everything else. Josie would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time, as she truly comes alive when she’s receiving attention. However, she isn't "needy"—she is perfectly capable of finding a comfy spot to snooze when her people are busy. While she has been a low-key lady at the shelter, her activity levels may increase once she settles into a forever home. Compatibility People: Wonderful with everyone she has met, including children. Other Pets: She has been non-reactive toward other cats and dogs at the shelter. We feel she would appreciate other low-key animals if she isn't the only pet in the home. Grooming & Lifestyle Josie normally sports a long, luxurious coat, but because she arrived covered in mats, she is currently rocking a lion cut. She will require regular grooming to keep her coat in good shape as it grows back. She is very happy living indoors and would do well continuing that lifestyle, though she would likely love a "catio" for warm summer days. Medical Status Josie is spayed, vaccinated, and up-to-date on parasite control. Ready to meet her? If you’ve been looking for a gentle and cuddly companion, apply today at www.nwas.ca for a chance to meet Josie! #NWASJosie

Story
Nina is a 1-year-old Calico cat. She is a small-sized cat, weighing around 4 kg. She is fully vaccinated, potty trained, and a great eater. Her previous owner had to give her up due to allergies. Since coming into my care, Nina has been incredibly easy to welcome—she settled in right away as if she had always been part of the family, with no transition period at all. She is the sweetest kitten, very affectionate and loving. Nina purrs a lot, follows you around, and loves to sleep with you. She enjoys showing her love, and if she feels she’s not getting enough affection back, she may give a gentle (and harmless) love nibble. Nina is active, playful, and full of personality. She gets along well with other cats, though she can be a little bossy. She is not the greatest with dogs. She is smart, expressive, and will make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her the attention and love she deserves. If you think you can offer Nina a loving forever home, please apply at baibaoadoption.ca. (Adoption fee: $225 + 5% GST)

Story
FOR ADOPTION: BEAN is an absolutely stunning 7 year old female that is looking for a very special forever home. This girl came into our care after her loving owner moved into hospice care. Bean is a lady that is set in her ways. She knows what she likes and she really knows what she doesn’t like. Bean is a spicy girl that feels all her emotions in a big way. She’s not afraid to let you know when she’s annoyed or upset but she’s equally not afraid to show when she is happy. Bean’s dream home is as an only pet in a mature household where she can have access to the outdoors either via a secure catio or into a safe environment. Bean has successfully lived with one other, very calm, female cat for her entire life. Their relationship was one of tolerance not friendship, she’s yet to find another feline she likes well enough to put up with. Bean has also been known to be picky about her canine friends and would likely do best without having to live with them. Kids are another thing that Bean is hoping to not have in her forever home. She prefers a calm and predictable environment. Bean does have enough sugar to balance out her spicy side. Man does this lady know how to cuddle! She absolutely loves to be held and pet and would be thrilled if she could find a family that is able to spend quite a bit of time with her. That being said shes capable of relaxing and doing her own thing while her people are busy. Bean is well mannered and clean indoors and will make a very easy companion in that regard. She’s spayed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a pretty cat that is the perfect mix of sugar and spice apply today at www.NWAS.ca #NWASBean
