Story
This cat adopted us and wouldn't leave our yard last winter. We tried to find the owner. She was really hungry so we started feeding it outside. It used to visit our cat before he passed away. She was extremely skittish at first and would run away. She started warming up a bit but we thought she was Ferrell or abused. We took her to the vet & found out she's spade but not a chip. Someone owned her at some point. Most likely abused her. We are fostering her until we find a loving owner. She keeps very clean. great with calm environment & men or women & older quiet teens. approx. 2-1/2 years old-Vet confirmed. We believe no shots yet. She can light bite at times when she wants attention. or reach out to try snag you for more petting. Indoor/Outdoor for Bathroom with pet door. Has not ever used a box. A farm or quiet neighborhood setting good. She's lived outside in past. eats wet tuna pate & dry grain free food. she begun to to stay in a lot. she can still get skittish .

These pups are in Victoria, British Columbia too!

NOTE: Due to some inappropriate defecation, Speedy and Leo will need a little longer before they are ready to go to their new forever homes! You are welcome to submit an application and/or come down to visit them, however we won't be reviewing applications until a later date. Meet Leo and Speedy! As they have lived their entire lives together, they will have to go home together as a bonded pair. These two robust cuddle-bugs are as sweet as they come. Despite their large size, they will both do their best to be able to fit on your lap for cuddle time. They love laying on laps and chests and snuggling up close. They also go crazy for brush time.Speedy in particular (the one with more white on her body) seems to struggle with litter box usage, she usually poops right beside her litter box instead of inside of it, she does urinate in her box correctly though. They are both very on the overweight side and will need to be on a strict diet, as well as kept on a food sensitivity diet. As their size makes it hard for them to clean their backsides, they may need assistance from their adopter with a warm damp rag until they get down to a smaller size. They are very comfortable being picked up and held, and would make perfect pets for a homebody or someone seeking two excessively cuddly companions.Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Leo and Speedy's person? Story
Meet Sophia!A recent addition to our shelter, Sophia is looking for the perfect forever home! She will need to be the only cat in the household.Sophia is as cuddly as they come, far more than your average cat. Even when she is meeting new people for the first time, her instinct is generally to curl up in their lap first and foremost. She has a ridiculously easy time making new friends with people. She loves cheek and chin rubs and will quickly melt into pets. She unfortunately has had on and off diarrhea for a large portion of her life and this will likely continue. We believe it is a dietary/bacterial issue so she'll need to be on a hydrolyzed protein/allergenic diet her whole life. This has caused infrequent accidents where she doesn't quite make it to the litter box, although this isn't super common.Kind and attentive, she likes to be in whatever room her humans are in and enjoys curling up in laps. Her favorite toys include simple things like tin foil balls, ribbons, and empty tissue paper boxes. Sophia is a very chatty girl and is always very careful with her claws when playing. She is also polydactyl (has 6 toes on her front paw)!Sophia is not currently viewable. To learn more, please submit an application or inquire via email!Thank you for your interest in adopting!
