Calico kittens & cats in Oak Harbor, Washington

This cat adopted us and wouldn't leave our yard last winter. We tried to find the owner. She was really hungry so we started feeding it outside. It used to visit our cat before he passed away. She was extremely skittish at first and would run away. She started warming up a bit but we thought she was Ferrell or abused. We took her to the vet & found out she's spade but not a chip. Someone owned her at some point. Most likely abused her. We are fostering her until we find a loving owner. She keeps very clean. great with calm environment & men or women & older quiet teens. approx. 2-1/2 years old-Vet confirmed. We believe no shots yet. She can light bite at times when she wants attention. or reach out to try snag you for more petting. Indoor/Outdoor for Bathroom with pet door. Has not ever used a box. A farm or quiet neighborhood setting good. She's lived outside in past. eats wet tuna pate & dry grain free food. she begun to to stay in a lot. she can still get skittish .

This gorgeous long-haired cat with mesmerizing big green eyes is in search of a loving home where she can be the center of attention. Helga is a mature kitty who thrives in an environment where she can be the sole recipient of affection. She adores belly rubs and will purr contentedly in your lap for hours on end. With her stunning emerald eyes, she’ll captivate your heart from the moment you meet her. While Helga is incredibly affectionate, sudden sounds and movements can startle her. She appreciates a peaceful and calm atmosphere where she can feel safe and secure. She is shy at first and may take a little time to warm up to you. Please note she doesn’t to be picked up. Being the sophisticated lady that she is, Helga does have a sensitive stomach and tends to eat too quickly at times, which can lead to occasional vomiting. Celeste is a very friendly and calm cat. She demands many cuddles and will often curl up with you on the couch. She is 9 years old and going strong. She would prefer a calm household with other calm animal if any.

This is Juniper, she is about a year and a half old. She loves food more than anything and would be best suited for a single cat home to control her eating habits but she would be fine in a multi cat home with a vigilant owner. I am moving to a place that doesn’t allow pets so sadly I have to find a new home for her. She is very sweet, loves giving kisses and snuggles with anyone and everyone. She plays every once in a while but her favorite things to do are eat and sleep.

Hello applicants!  Meet our adorable Angelina.  This sweet girl is just perfect!  She loves all humans, cats and gets along with dogs too.  Angelina like many other Spring Branch Rescue intakes was found on the streets of Houston.  Probably dumped or got away from her home.  When we took her in she had a litter of kittens with her.  We have been able to find homes for all except this amazing girl.  She is fully housebroken and extremely obedient.  She will do great in any living situation.  Her transition from our foster home to yours should be a very easy one.  Our dear Angelina is FIV positive.  You take a chance when rescuing a cat that they will be FIV positive.  Back in the days it was a death sentence for them as many were not educated enough on this.  THERE is nothing bad about FIV.  WE love our FIV intakes!  They live long happy lives.  They will require a little more attention to upper respiratory issues.  Kinda like someone who has allergies.  You will need to stablish a relationship with a vet and keep up with all your yearly shots as expected.  FIV cats can live with other FIV cats and Dogs.  Unfortunately, cats that have FIV cannot live with those that do not have it.  Some adopters have adopted in the past and kept up with yearly shots for their health cats.  That's up to you as an adopter.  We have to let you know what we were told by our vet.  We have found homes for so many!!!  Absolutely NOTHING bad with their adoptions.  Lived long happy lives.  Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive.
