Story
Sweet Sasha was adopted as a kitten along with her brother Sushi, and this loving pair has grown up in a home where they were deeply cared for. Unfortunately, their adopter recently had to move and wasn’t able to take them along. Now, Sasha is looking for a new forever home — one where she’ll be treasured and given all the love she craves. Sasha is a gentle, playful, and affectionate girl who thrives on attention — especially in the mornings when she’s most eager for your love! She adores toys and will happily chase them down hallways or pounce on a wiggling string. Laser pointers? Absolutely one of her favorites. This lovely lady is quite the conversationalist and enjoys a good chat with her humans. While she may not be on your lap 24/7, she’ll climb up when the mood strikes and stay as long as she pleases — her cuddles are always on her own loving terms. She also has a funny and endearing habit: she loves to drink from the sink when the water’s turned on just slightly more than a drip. It’s her personal spa moment! Sasha has a soft spot for a pinch of tuna now and then and will come running at the sound of a can opener. A fan of bird-watching and window lounging, she also loves snuggling into soft blankets — under them, on top of them, in closets, or wherever there’s a cozy nook. Sasha is great with kids and warms up to new people with just a little time. Sasha and Sushi enjoy each other’s company and could be adopted together, but they’re also independent enough to thrive separately — as long as each finds a loving, attentive home. Please note: Sasha is ok with small childrenMore information & application [ts=1767024044&src=aap]

Story
? Sunflower’s Adoption Story ? Meet Sunflower, a stunning calico kitten whose soft coat glows with warm shades of yellow, orange, and cream—like the petals of a sunflower basking in the morning sun. Her name suits her perfectly—not just for her coloring, but for the gentle warmth she brings into any room. Sunflower is the definition of kitten curiosity and playful energy. She spends her days darting after feather wands, pouncing on toy mice, and leaping with surprising grace onto her favorite sunny spot: a cozy hammock in the window, where she watches the world go by between cat naps. She's a little athlete in the making, but also a professional napper. Though still learning to fully trust humans, Sunflower has a sweet and thoughtful spirit. She's not the type to rush into new situations—she prefers to take her time, watching and learning. A calm, patient hand will be rewarded with slow blinks, soft purrs, and eventually, gentle cuddles. She's blossoming every day and just needs someone who understands that love sometimes grows best with space and quiet care. Sunflower feels most comfortable with other feline companions and thrives in a multi-cat home. She has also been around respectful dogs and handled it like a pro. With the right environment—one filled with kindness, patience, and a sunny spot to nap—Sunflower is sure to bloom into a loving lifelong friend. Could your home be the place where Sunflower finally blooms? ? More information & application [ts=1767024044&src=aap]

Story
Bonded sisters LaVerne and Shirley share a gentle, lifelong connection and are looking for a forever home where they can stay together. These sweet girls aren’t rowdy kittens anymore—instead, they’ve grown into calm, affectionate companions who find comfort in each other’s company and in the people they love. They may need a little time to adjust to a new environment, but once they feel safe, their loving and loyal personalities truly shine. They enjoy quiet moments, cozy naps, and following you from room to room just to be near. Both are cuddle-seekers at heart and will happily curl up beside you, offering their soothing purrs as the perfect background to a peaceful day. Their soft, calico coats are as beautiful as their temperaments—gentle, easygoing, and full of love. They also get along well with other cats, making them a wonderful fit for a home that already has feline friends. LaVerne and Shirley are ready to bring double the warmth and double the love into the hearts of a family that will cherish them together. Could they be your perfect pair? Please do not apply for one without the other. They are a bonded pair. More information & application [ts=1767024044&src=aap]

Story
Magpie is a very young Mom Cat. Magpie and her six new-born kittens were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cathouse on the Kings.  The kittens and their mom, Magpie, have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Magpie has been a very loving and nurturing mom to her six kittens.  As a very young cat herself, she is quite energetic, likes to talk, and is loving and affectionate with her foster humans.  She did fine with young, school-aged children visiting the foster home.  She would do well as an only cat or with another confident cat if given some time to adjust. If you are looking for an entertaining companion, Magpie is the one for you! Please note: Magpie is ok with small childrenMore information & application [ts=1767024044&src=aap]

Story
Snowpea’s Story: A Princess in Progress Snowpea wasn’t just any kitten—she was a vision. With her silky white coat brushed with the signature patches of calico coloring, she looked like royalty straight out of a fairytale. Her dainty paws stepped softly like she was walking on clouds, and her golden-green eyes shimmered with curiosity. Everyone who met her agreed: Snowpea was a fancy little princess. But don’t let her elegant looks fool you—Snowpea has the heart of an explorer. Her days are spent roaming corners, peeking under furniture, and claiming every high perch she can find. She’s a brave little adventurer, ruling her world one pawstep at a time. Mealtimes? That’s where her royal attitude shines brightest. If you’re not moving fast enough with her dish, she’ll give you a polite (okay, slightly impatient) swat to remind you who’s in charge. It’s not rude, really—just part of her charm. After all, a princess should never be kept waiting for her feast. Snowpea’s journey isn’t just about discovering new nooks and crannies—it’s about learning the world of humans, too. She *loves* people, but she’s still figuring out how much interaction feels just right. Sometimes she wants your company, sometimes she prefers her royal solitude. And that’s okay. Like all great things, building trust with Snowpea takes time, patience, and lots of love. In return, she offers the promise of becoming a truly loyal and loving companion—soft, sweet, and a little bit sassy. Snowpea is still growing into herself, but one thing is certain: whoever gives her a forever home will be welcoming a graceful little soul with a curious spirit and a heart full of potential. Will you be the one to give this beautiful calico princess her castle? ?? More information & application [ts=1767024044&src=aap]

Story
Hi! My name is Brenda, and I'm a brindle kitten. I'm energetic and full of sweetness and spice! My foster people tell me I'm very cute. I love to cuddle with my foster people and with my sister, Cali. I love her very much, and we're a bonded pair. We like to cuddle up when we sleep. We would love to be adopted together! You can see Cali at this link: https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/46615340-fresno-california-cat Our foster people love us very much, but they already have six kitties. Their plan from the beginning was to find a good forever home for us. Cali and I were just tiny kittens when they spotted us in their condo complex. We were in the parking lot, nursing on our feral mom. We're 8 months old now, domesticated, and ready for our forever home. You'll love to watch us tumble around playing with each other. Twice as much to love! We'll need a little time and TLC to warm up to new people at first. Once we do, we'll give you tons of cuddles, purrs, and love!

These cats are in Clovis, California too!

Story
I adopted my cat from a shelter when he was a kitten. He originally came from a “show cat” background, so he’s always been comfortable around people and loves attention. He’s very friendly with strangers, enjoys playing fetch, and has been an indoor-only cat his whole life. He is fully potty trained and loves toys and interactive play. He currently lives in a home with children who are allergic, so I’m looking for a new home where he can continue to thrive and get the affection he deserves.
