Magpie is a very young Mom Cat. Magpie and her six new-born kittens were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cat House on the Kings.  The kittens and their mom, Magpie, have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Magpie has been a very loving and nurturing mom to her six kittens.  As a very young cat herself, she is quite energetic, likes to talk, is loving and affectionate with her foster humans.  She would do best in an only pet household so she can get all of the attention like a true princess. She does get over stimulated and will give love bites occasionally so a home without young children would be best. Nikki is a wonderful cat. She likes to mind her own business. Once she warms up to you she will cuddle with you and sleep in the bed. Most of the time she likes to sleep under the bed or in the window. The only other animal she has been around is her sister who just recently passed. She is lonely without a companion.

This gorgeous calico girl is Slinky. She was a little shy, but now she's all purrs ad cuddles.  Once she gets comfortable with you she enjoys back rubs. She is slowly coming out of her shell with the staff and she is gaining that powerful calico confidence. She enjoys hanging out at the top of the cat tree and looking out the window.  We named her Slinky, due to her unique walk.  She is already a shining star so once she knows her full beauty she will be unstoppable! Sweet calico Elena is a gentle little girl who loves a lively playtime followed by some snuggles and cozy lap time. She takes most everything easily in stride, but loud noises will send her running under a chair or whatever furniture is available, and she wisely appreciates a bit of time to assess new situations. She has been exposed other cats and has done well with them. This sweetie’s very big eyes, very cute toes, and very beautiful patchwork of gold, black, and ivory, make her a blue-ribbon classic, but it’s her gentle, loving personality that makes her a true treasure. He enjoys being around people and greeting visitors, especially when he got to live in our Kitty Corner. His calm, steady nature makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a relaxed feline friend. He is on a special diet to help his digestive system, and will need to be on a sensitive skin/stomach formula to maintain his health and occasionally needs a little Miralax to keep him regular.
