Magpie is a very young Mom Cat. Magpie and her six new-born kittens were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cat House on the Kings.  The kittens and their mom, Magpie, have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Magpie has been a very loving and nurturing mom to her six kittens.  As a very young cat herself, she is quite energetic, likes to talk, is loving and affectionate with her foster humans.  She would do best in an only pet household so she can get all of the attention like a true princess. She does get over stimulated and will give love bites occasionally so a home without young children would be best. Our one eyed beautiful adult cat. Approximately 4 years old. Rescued by our friends at a local vet clinic. Clover is a sweet, submissive kitty. Unsure of the circumstances that lead to her losing an eye, but she doesn't let that hold her back. In a rescue full of other cats she manages to get along with most of them, staying away from the sassy kitties. Doesn't require much from her person. A soft and warm place by a windowsill, head scratches and a yummy meal. Is she your new baby?

Mamas is a sweet mama kitty. Despite the name, she does enjoy her personal space from other cats. She can be in a home with other cats however prefers her own space especially during meal times. Mamas was found by a good Samaritan near some dumpsters with her kittens. They found loving homes when they were old enough and neutered but Mamas is still looking for a home to call her own. She loves human attention, pets and treats are her favorite things. She likes to sit in your lap on her own terms but doesn't enjoy being picked up. She is a spayed female Approximately 2 years old.

This gorgeous calico girl is Slinky. She was a little shy, but now she's all purrs ad cuddles.  Once she gets comfortable with you she enjoys back rubs. She is slowly coming out of her shell with the staff and she is gaining that powerful calico confidence. She enjoys hanging out at the top of the cat tree and looking out the window.  We named her Slinky, due to her unique walk.  She is already a shining star so once she knows her full beauty she will be unstoppable! Sweet calico Elena is a gentle little girl who loves a lively playtime followed by some snuggles and cozy lap time. She takes most everything easily in stride, but loud noises will send her running under a chair or whatever furniture is available, and she wisely appreciates a bit of time to assess new situations. She has been exposed other cats and has done well with them. This sweetie’s very big eyes, very cute toes, and very beautiful patchwork of gold, black, and ivory, make her a blue-ribbon classic, but it’s her gentle, loving personality that makes her a true treasure. I have had Leona since she was available to adopt at 4 months old. I have had her, her entire life. She is now 5 years old as of May. She speaks back you when spoken to, will mimic words you say in exchange for food, allows herself to go to the groomers, and even be bathed. I have nothing of cons to say about my baby except for the fact that she sheds a lot in the warmer months (which is why she gets shaved each spring) and she loves the outdoors as much as she loves to be home. She can be trusted to go out and come home responsibly and is a great hunter. She is NOT aggressive and is extremely patient with people, please be kind. We cannot keep her due to extreme allergies that I developed and a growing family. I have tried to keep her, but I break out in hives amongst other issues I developed. She is so perfect and I hope we can find someone to love her as much as we do.

Munch was a stray we found when he was a small kitten. He is about 2 years old, going on 3. He is the most loving and affectionate cat I have ever had. He will roll all over you and cuddle every chance he gets. He is very Skittish around new people and surroundings but once he is comfortable he thrives. He hates baths and being carried but loves tummy rubs. He got out of the house one day and made friends with all the local cats. I believe he would thrive with a loving family that has time for him to give him all the love and attention I have been unable to.

I found sunny at an apartment complex near my home, i took her in at 4 months she was spayed and given all shots necessary. Today she is about 1 1/2 and unfortunately i have to rehome her due to my landlord house rules, she’s super affectionate loves cuddles and to be held and also super vocal, she also gets along very well with other cats, male and female.
