Magpie is a very young Mom Cat. Magpie and her six new-born kittens were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cathouse on the Kings.  The kittens and their mom, Magpie, have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Magpie has been a very loving and nurturing mom to her six kittens.  As a very young cat herself, she is quite energetic, likes to talk, and is loving and affectionate with her foster humans.  She did fine with young, school-aged children visiting the foster home.  She would do well as an only cat or with another confident cat if given some time to adjust. Our one eyed beautiful adult cat. Approximately 4 years old. Rescued by our friends at a local vet clinic. Clover is a sweet, submissive kitty. Unsure of the circumstances that lead to her losing an eye, but she doesn't let that hold her back. In a rescue full of other cats she manages to get along with most of them, staying away from the sassy kitties. Doesn't require much from her person. A soft and warm place by a windowsill, head scratches and a yummy meal. Is she your new baby?

Mamas is a sweet mama kitty. Despite the name, she does enjoy her personal space from other cats. She can be in a home with other cats however prefers her own space especially during meal times. Mamas was found by a good Samaritan near some dumpsters with her kittens. They found loving homes when they were old enough and neutered but Mamas is still looking for a home to call her own. She loves human attention, pets and treats are her favorite things. She likes to sit in your lap on her own terms but doesn't enjoy being picked up. She is a spayed female Approximately 2 years old.

Leola was found in a garbage bag with her siblings as a kitten. She is the only survivor. Now she is 14 years old and is loved very dearly. Currently I am going through a financial crisis and will be homeless in March 2026. I want to find her a loving home for the rest of her life. She is very sweet, likes to nap and snuggle.

This cat came from a litter where the mother died, I’ve found housing for 3 out of the 5 in the litter, Arthur is the sweetest little cuddle kitty from the litter he’s calm and playful good with kids that have boundaries that know how to be gentle or any adult that can care for the cat properly, so far he’s been good with his siblings, they came from my job from my old coworker, also I don’t know the breed

Jane is a very sweet, low maintenance girlie. She is a three year old white domestic shorthair. I adopted her locally in January 2025 at Whitie's Pets through Fresno Humane Animal Services due to her elderly owner's passing. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She currently has no known health issues, and has had her wellness checkups and vaccinations all done locally at Bullard Marks Veterinary Medical Center. I can provide full medical records since adoption if requested. Jane is very independent, but she does enjoy belly scratches and playing with shiny toys. Despite her independent nature, she will still snuggle up next to you and try to sleep with you if given the opportunity. I am in the military and will be going overseas soon, and am unable to take Jane with me. I believe the best perspective adopter for Jane would be someone who seeks a low maintenance, mellow companion that can still appreciate the affection and companionship that Jane provides.
