Story
Rescued from a high Kill shelterLillian is super friendly likes humans adult and kids! Fully vetted and chipped litter box trained.  Lillian eats both dry & wet food. Very clean and great with the litter box. With so much love to give to her new forever home.  Very easy going and gentle!  In our rescue coming from a High Kill Shelter we don't get a lot information regarding there past. We just learn about them while they are at our rescue. Lillian is waiting for her forever home. If you want adopt Lillian please contact our rescue. 559-412-7226 Lillian is 1 years old. Lillian loves to be around humans for the attention. Lillian has amazing calico makings on her body. We currently have in our adoption area at our rescue many cats all running freely in our adoption area waiting for there forever homes. We try to keep up to date our cats currently up for adoption listed. But we S/N weekly and try to add our updates of cats weekly. But there are still many cats we have up for adoption that may not have been listed yet. All our cats up for adoption come from High Kill Shelters that have a very short time at the Kill Shelter prior to being put down. By adopting from our rescue it makes room for us to pull more cats from the High Kill Shelters and keeping them from being put down at the kill shelter. We don't take in any private owned cats. Just shelter cats for there life at the Kill shelter is very short before being put down. Our rescue is a no kill rescue! We work hard to get our cats ready for adoptions. If you would like to meet all our cats up for adoption please contact us 559-412-7226. We are by appointments only! We are a rescue, not a shelter. We do not kill any animals here at our rescue. In fact, we do not advocate the killing of animals and wish all shelters would adopt a "no kill" policy. Many of the animals that we rescue end up living out their days here, as some are not adoptable, which may be due to their age, medical issues, socialization issues, or inability to handle children or other animals. Some are also pets that have been unwanted by relatives when their owners have passed on. We try to facilitate the adoption of all animals referred to us that we feel would be good companions. Also, we try to help those that are in transition to find foster homes while they are seeking permanent adoption. You should know that we are very selective about which animals we bring into our rescue so that they will adapt well with the ones already residing here. We have wonderful kittens and adult cats ready for adoption. Please contact us to arrange an appointment. We work with many rescue groups in helping the public to understand the meaning of a feral cat and the TNR (trap and release) program. We also offer help to those people who are interested in starting a TNR program in their area. Feral cats don't need to be killed...and I can't express that enough! We do not support any program that kills feral cats. We are backed by the PETA and Alley Cats organization, and we work from donations and volunteer help. The very sad part of being in rescue... is that this is what we see every day walking into the shelter's knowing they will all die in a few days. Its hard to be in rescue and see this every single day over and over... it takes a toll on us all dealing with trying to save a life. Then the question is who do we save and who do we leave behind? Our rescue never leaves family members behind NEVER !!January 6, 2024, 12:07 am

Story
Hello, my name is Calzone! I may be a bit shy at first, but I'm a sweet and gentle girl with a heart full of love to give. My journey began as a young mother, raising my adorable kittens with all the care in the world. Now that they're grown and independent, I'm ready to find a cozy home where I can finally be spoiled and cherished just like I deserve. Interacting with people is still something I'm learning, but deep down, I crave affection and companionship. I absolutely adore chin scratches and gentle pets—they make me purr with contentment. One of my favorite pastimes is observing the world outside through a sunny window or quietly watching over you from a comfy, peaceful spot. Being a calico, I come with a touch of sassiness and a unique way of expressing myself. When I want your attention, I might make cute little cooing noises that are sure to melt your heart. While I'm looking for that special someone to bond with, I would do best in a calm environment without young children, where I can gradually adjust and build trust at my own pace. If you're searching for a gentle soul who just needs a bit of time and understanding to blossom into your loving companion, I could be the perfect match for you. Let's create a warm and loving home together—won't you consider giving me a chance to be your loyal friend? Thank you for considering me, Calzone, for your forever home. I can't wait to meet you! ? Please note: Calzone needs a home with no young children.More information & application [ts=1721545251&src=aap]

Story
Meet cuddly Cady! This cutiepie loves hands-on attention, and being held and talked to is her very favorite thing! But she’s a happy kitten with three energetic siblings, so funny explorations and adventures happen every day, and no toy goes unappreciated! This darling girl may want a little extra time to assess new situations, but she warms up quickly especially when fun or affection are offered. Her gorgeous coat is a one-of-a-kind beautiful blend of stripes and brushstrokes in charcoal, dove gray, and alabaster white highlighted with molten gold patches. Luminous and lovely eyes, expertly outlined in kohl black, add to her extraordinary good looks. She sparkles with beauty and deeply loving affection and will be a cherished treasure in a family that adores her. She'll keep herself entertained with her favorite ball. Could cuddlebug Cady be the perfect companion for you? More information & application [ts=1721545251&src=aap]

Story
Sweet calico Elena is a gentle little girl who loves a lively playtime followed by some snuggles and cozy lap time. She takes most everything easily in stride, but loud noises will send her running under a chair or whatever furniture is available, and she wisely appreciates a bit of time to assess new situations. She has been exposed  other cats and has done well with them. This sweetie’s very big eyes, very pink nose, very cute toes, and very beautiful patchwork of gold, black, and ivory, make her a blue-ribbon classic, but it’s her gentle, loving personality that makes her a true treasure. Could little Elena be the beloved girl for you? ???? More information & application [ts=1721545251&src=aap]

Story
Rescued from a high Kill shelterSophie came to our rescue from a High Kill Shelter she did test positive FIV at the shelter. fiv isn't a death sentence to a cat or a reason to kill a other wise healthy cat. She is beautiful and just beyond loving. She loves to talk to you and just loves to be around humans. Sophie has a lot of love to give to a family.  Sophie very sweet and loving and has been around kids and just loves playing with kids, Very playful and active. Great with the litter box!  Micro-chipped wormed flea treatment shots and have been fixed.  Sophie has to be the most sweetest kitty on this earth. She was a owner surrender to the shelter after years being with this family to now say they are allergic to her. I think personally this has to be a horrible reason to dump a family pet after so many years. Our rescue wants so badly to place her in a forever home. If your interested please contact our rescue. 559-412-7226 Sophie will be lots of love to her new loving family. She is a beauty in person.
