Story
Snowpea’s Story: A Princess in Progress Snowpea wasn’t just any kitten—she was a vision. With her silky white coat brushed with the signature patches of calico coloring, she looked like royalty straight out of a fairytale. Her dainty paws stepped softly like she was walking on clouds, and her golden-green eyes shimmered with curiosity. Everyone who met her agreed: Snowpea was a fancy little princess. But don’t let her elegant looks fool you—Snowpea has the heart of an explorer. Her days are spent roaming corners, peeking under furniture, and claiming every high perch she can find. She’s a brave little adventurer, ruling her world one pawstep at a time. Mealtimes? That’s where her royal attitude shines brightest. If you’re not moving fast enough with her dish, she’ll give you a polite (okay, slightly impatient) swat to remind you who’s in charge. It’s not rude, really—just part of her charm. After all, a princess should never be kept waiting for her feast. Snowpea’s journey isn’t just about discovering new nooks and crannies—it’s about learning the world of humans, too. She *loves* people, but she’s still figuring out how much interaction feels just right. Sometimes she wants your company, sometimes she prefers her royal solitude. And that’s okay. Like all great things, building trust with Snowpea takes time, patience, and lots of love. In return, she offers the promise of becoming a truly loyal and loving companion—soft, sweet, and a little bit sassy. Snowpea is still growing into herself, but one thing is certain: whoever gives her a forever home will be welcoming a graceful little soul with a curious spirit and a heart full of potential. Will you be the one to give this beautiful calico princess her castle? ?? More information & application [ts=1787209216&src=aap]

Story
? Sunflower’s Adoption Story ? Meet Sunflower, a stunning calico kitten whose soft coat glows with warm shades of yellow, orange, and cream—like the petals of a sunflower basking in the morning sun. Her name suits her perfectly—not just for her coloring, but for the gentle warmth she brings into any room. Sunflower is the definition of kitten curiosity and playful energy. She spends her days darting after feather wands, pouncing on toy mice, and leaping with surprising grace onto her favorite sunny spot: a cozy hammock in the window, where she watches the world go by between cat naps. She's a little athlete in the making, but also a professional napper. Though still learning to fully trust humans, Sunflower has a sweet and thoughtful spirit. She's not the type to rush into new situations—she prefers to take her time, watching and learning. A calm, patient hand will be rewarded with slow blinks, soft purrs, and eventually, gentle cuddles. She's blossoming every day and just needs someone who understands that love sometimes grows best with space and quiet care. Sunflower feels most comfortable with other feline companions and thrives in a multi-cat home. She has also been around respectful dogs and handled it like a pro. With the right environment—one filled with kindness, patience, and a sunny spot to nap—Sunflower is sure to bloom into a loving lifelong friend. Could your home be the place where Sunflower finally blooms? ? More information & application [ts=1787209216&src=aap]

Story
Magpie is a very young Mom Cat. Magpie and her six new-born kittens were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cat House on the Kings.  The kittens and their mom, Magpie, have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Magpie has been a very loving and nurturing mom to her six kittens.  As a very young cat herself, she is quite energetic, likes to talk, is loving and affectionate with her foster humans.  She would do best in an only pet household so she can get all of the attention like a true princess. She does get over stimulated and will give love bites occasionally so a home without young children would be best. All of Magpie's cute kittens have been adopted now and it is her turn to be the center of loving attention! If you are looking for an entertaining companion, Magpie is the one for you! Please note: Magpie would do best as an only childMagpie needs a home with no dogs and no young children.More information & application [ts=1787209216&src=aap]

Story
Our one eyed beautiful adult cat. Approximately 4 years old. Rescued by our friends at a local vet clinic. Clover is a sweet, submissive kitty. Unsure of the circumstances that lead to her losing an eye, but she doesn't let that hold her back. In a rescue full of other cats she manages to get along with most of them, staying away from the sassy kitties. Doesn't require much from her person. A soft and warm place by a windowsill, head scratches and a yummy meal. Is she your new baby?

Story
Freddie is 10 months old and I got him and his brother through the Nextdoor App. I got them for my kids as Christmas gifts. We never had cats before. Freddie and his brother have been confined to a small room because we also have a dog and he only wants to hurt them. I did not think things through and thought my dog would just adapt to the kitties. These cats deserve to live a full life outside a small room. I need for these two cats to remain together because they only know each other and have been close ever since they were born. They are fun and love human interaction! I would love for these cats to be placed together in a home who can give them attention and play with them. The cat with the most black on his face is Ozzy (named after Ozzy Osbourne). These brothers are so loving and they each have their own unique personalities and its fun to watch how they interact with one another. Please consider these guys!
