Calico kittens & cats in Madera, California

Peaches needs a forever home because her previous owner’s health issues require moving where no pets are allowed. She is ten years old, calico, litter box trained, fixed, indoors only.

I found this kitten in my neighbors car. I have already spayed her and given her her first round of flea medication. I have two more months left of the medication that I am happy to give to the adopter. She is about 10 weeks old. Very playful, has a sweet little voice, and full of kitten energy. Has been using the litter box regularly. She would make a wonderful pet. I will be going on vacation in two weeks and can't foster for more than another two weeks. All the rescues in the area are full and I'd hate to release her back on the street. She's just too sweet.

Sweet Sasha was adopted as a kitten along with her brother Sushi, and this loving pair has grown up in a home where they were deeply cared for. Unfortunately, their adopter recently had to move and wasn’t able to take them along. Now, Sasha is looking for a new forever home — one where she’ll be treasured and given all the love she craves. This lovely lady is quite the conversationalist and enjoys a good chat with her humans. While she may not be on your lap 24/7, she’ll climb up when the mood strikes and stay as long as she pleases — her cuddles are always on her own loving terms. She also has a funny and endearing habit: she loves to drink from the sink when the water’s turned on just slightly more than a drip. It’s her personal spa moment! Sasha has a soft spot for a pinch of tuna now and then and will come running at the sound of a can opener. A fan of bird-watching and window lounging, she also loves snuggling into soft blankets — under them, on top of them, in closets, or wherever there’s a cozy nook. Sasha is great with kids and warms up to new people with just a little time. Sasha and Sushi enjoy each other’s company and could be adopted together, but they’re also independent enough to thrive separately — as long as each finds a loving, attentive home. This Calico beauty is called Mitzi.  Mitzi along with her five siblings and her mom were abandoned at a local firehouse.  When the firefighters returned from a call, they found a box of teeny, tiny kittens and a loving Mama Kitty.  The firefighters quickly went into rescue mode and contacted The Cathouse on the Kings.  The kittens and Mom have been thriving in foster care and are now ready to find forever homes.  Mitzi is definitely the leader of the gang of six.  She is curious and loves exploring around her foster home.  She and her siblings have tons of kitten energy.  They excel at bouncing and pouncing around together, playing with kitten toys, and are fun to watch.  They are also all very sweet and loving with generous purrs.  They enjoy affectionate human contact.  Mitzie and her siblings do well with well-behaved school aged children. Pretty-in-patches Penelope is a super sweet and mellow girl who loves to be petted and doesn’t think there’s any such thing as too much attention! She eagerly shows up for cuddles and mealtimes, always beautifully attired in her ensemble of snowy white adorned with lovely patches of calico golds and grays. A pert little smile is her purrfect accessory! She’s curious about everything, especially what you are doing, but balances her busier activities with luxurious naps and indulgent snuggles.
