Story
NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has at least 2 FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid in full and the kitten must be brought to their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive up to 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and microchipped.  Adoption Fee: $250 with a few exceptions of breed and color from $325 as listed. If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is 50% of the adoption fee. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. Please send a text message to the numbers below to set up a meet and greet. Showings are by appointment only and hosted (almost) every Saturday and Sunday. Our rescue is in Northern CA (Manteca) and we do not transport out of state. If you would like to set up a meet and greet with a kitten or have questions, please text  510-299-2031 for Jessica. ##2055816##

Story
NALA Nala IS LOVELY!! She is friendly, affectionate and gentle cat who is people oriented and loves to snuggle in her bed or a nice sunny spot by the window. She is quiet, independent, a perfect lounge kitty who adores a gentle pat, a warm, cozy bed and endless food bowl! Nala is looking for a home that will appreciate her sweetness and shower her with love & food! She is an intelligent cat, aware of her surroundings, and keeps herself entertained when alone. She gets a little spunky at times and likes to bat around a few toys. She does not like to be picked up but LOVES being pet & given chin & head scratches. Nala is looking for a quiet home and would prefer to be the only cat in the household as she gets annoyed by playful kittens but seems to be okay with older cats that mind their own business. Nala was found wandering the streets during a heavy rain storm. She was skin & bones and her fur was completely matted. Her collar was hanging very loosely from her neck. NALA IS FULLY VETTED & IN GREAT HEALTH!!! She is NEGATIVE for FeLV, FIV (Aids, Leukemia) & heartworms. The vet estimated Nala to be about 8-10 years old. Nala had a hernia that was repaired during her spay surgery. This poor girl had never been fixed and has most likely had over 10+ litters of kittens. Very upsetting to think no one cared enough for this sweetheart to get her fixed. Nala has been a very happy, well cared for kitty since coming to rescue. Will you be the one to continue giving her love? Interested in making Nala a part of your family? Then....... Please send an email to TLCKittyRescue1@gmail.com

AINSLEY & FINLEY Birthday 4/12/24 Meet this sweet brother & sister combo who are super sweet, playful, cuddly and ready to give you lots of love and hours of entertainment. Oh, he is super goofy & likes belly rubs and any attention he can get! Ainsley is a petite tortie with the most unique color pattering. She has a very calm, gentle and sweet personality. When you pick her up, she starts purring. Ainsley may be a little shy at 1st but warms up quickly as she follows her brother’s lead. Finley follows you around reaching out & meowing for your attention. They love bouncing around their playpen and flipping upside down in their baskets.
