Story
Meet Binx, a cat with a disposition as sweet as honey. Binx is a special cat in our rescue who has faced unique health challenges since birth. Born with a chronic upper respiratory infection, Binx's immune system is weakened, making him more susceptible to catching colds quickly. Despite his health condition, it's important to note that Binx's ailment is not contagious to other cats, ensuring the well-being of his fellow feline companions. Living with a chronic upper respiratory infection means that Binx requires extra care and attention to manage his health. Regular veterinary check-ups, medications, and a supportive environment are crucial to providing him with the best possible quality of life. Binx's unique situation highlights the resilience of cats and the importance of finding a loving and understanding forever home for him. We believe Binx deserves a home where he can receive the care and attention he needs. While his health may present some challenges, Binx has a lot of love to give and is eager to form a special bond with his future family. Adopting Binx means offering him a chance at a happy and fulfilling life, surrounded by the warmth and care every cat deserves. Please contact us if you want to provide Binx with a loving home. Your willingness to welcome a special cat like Binx into your life positively impacts his well-being. It showcases the compassion and understanding that define the true essence of cat rescue and adoption. This adult feline's demeanor is the epitome of mellow, gentle calm that radiates from him, soothing the atmosphere around him. His sweetness isn't just skin deep; it permeates his every action, every purr, every gentle nudge of his head. Binx is the kind of cat that transforms a house into a home, his presence a comforting constant. His gentleness is a balm, his sweetness a joy. To adopt Binx is to invite serenity into your life, to welcome a friend who will love you unconditionally and enrich your days with his mellow charm. At Orphan Kitten Rescue, we prioritize the well-being and socialization of our kittens, exposing them to various environments, including households with dogs, other cats, toddlers, and even the ubiquitous vacuum. Once our kittens have received at least two vaccines, they are introduced to the kitty playroom, fostering interactions with their fellow feline companions. Our commitment to providing you with a healthy, content, and well-adjusted kitten translates into a higher adoption fee, allowing us to offer comprehensive benefits and minimize the need for immediate veterinary attention. Currently, our adoption fee is available at a reduced rate of $150 for some of our cats, with the exception of orange cats ($275) and white & Maine Coon cats ($300). Each kitten comes fully equipped with all three FVRCP vaccines, thorough deworming, parasite, flea, and tick treatment, microchipping with registration, and more. While most of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption, those too small undergo our "foster to adopt" program, enabling adopters to build a strong bond with their new fur baby. To participate in the foster-to-adopt program, adopters pay the total adoption fee, with the spaying/neutering appointment scheduled by our staff once the kitten reaches the appropriate weight. For those looking to secure a specific kitten, a non-refundable hold fee of $125 can be placed. This fee ensures the removal of the listing and reserves the kitten for 14 days, unless otherwise agreed upon. To initiate the adoption process or arrange a meet and greet, please fill out the interest card on the posting or complete the attached adoption application. Our rescue is located in Northern California, precisely in Manteca, and we regret to inform you that we do not transport kittens out of state. Should you have any inquiries, feel free to reach us at info@orphankittenrescue.org or by text at 510-299-2031 to schedule a visit. Your understanding and support are greatly appreciated. ##1537067##

Story
Hello there! My name is Winky, and I'm a unique and lovable feline looking for my forever home. I may have a little wobble in my step, but that adds to my charm. Let me tell you a bit about myself! Name: Winky Condition: Cerebellar Hypoplasia (mild) ‍ Personality: Despite my mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia, I'm a playful and spirited kitty. You might notice that I slide a bit when I'm running and occasionally lose my balance, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying life to the fullest. I've adapted well to my unique way of moving, and it adds a touch of endearing quirkiness to my character. Winky's personality blends mellow gentleness and friendly sweetness, making her the perfect companion for any home. Her calm demeanor is a soothing presence, her gentle purrs a comforting melody. She's a friend to all, always ready with a soft nudge or a warm cuddle. Winky's sweetness is infectious, her cuddly nature a joy to experience. She's a cat that fills a home with love and teaches the value of quiet companionship.  What's Cerebellar Hypoplasia?: Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurological condition that affects the part of the brain responsible for coordination and balance. In my case it's a mild form, so I have a bit of difficulty with specific movements. But trust me, it doesn't slow me down! Potty Habits: Now, here's something important to know about me. I prefer using pee pads instead of a litter box. It's just my personal preference! So, if you're ready to accommodate my unique bathroom habits, we're good to go. Ideal Home: I'm seeking a loving home with understanding humans who can appreciate my quirks and provide a safe environment. Due to my occasional balance issues, it would be best if I'm in a calm and secure space. Interaction: I'm great with humans! I love attention, cuddles, and interactive play. My condition doesn't affect my ability to form strong bonds with my human companions.  What I Come With: I'll bring my charm, love, and character to your home. I'm spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to join a family that understands my unique needs. If you're ready to open your heart to a special kitty like me, please consider adopting me. We can create a lifetime of love, laughter, and joy together! Contact us to arrange a meet-and-greet with yours truly, Winky. Let's make each other's lives brighter!
