Story
Rosalita (Lita) is a Typical calico! Affectionate when it suits her, independent as can be! When she's NOT in the mood for humans, she simply scampers off to one of her favorite spots. Sometimes she asks for belly rubs, as she rolls onto her back and gives little squeeks to be petted. She loves to play, especially chasing the laser, and to watch out the window at the lizards and birds. Everything with Rosalita is on her terms! Lita, Bruce and their mom, Rosie, came to us when the babies were just three weeks old. They weren't in the best condition, but we got them super healthy and happy since they arrived on June 4, 2017. There are several reasons why they haven't been adopted yet - the most important is that their particular humans haven't shown up yet. Rosalita has been with us since 2017, because she normally isn't very receptive to visitors. It will take a special person to gain her love. For the longest time, the trio were never apart. We tried so hard to get them adopted together, to no avail. They've grown more independent of each other and now could be separated. DOB: 5/14/2017

Story
Cleopatra and her four siblings entered the world on the sidewalk of an apartment complex, born to a very young, abandoned cat we named Lady Diana. They were all brought to us with their mom, when the kittens were just one day old. All her kittens are sweet, love to play and are healthy and happy. Cleopatra, once anti-social, is living proof of what patience, time and a lot of love can do! She is now very social and not only welcomes attention, she actively seeks it out! Her dramatic eyes and regal air befitting of her name. Her siblings are Fergie and Athena. While Cleopatra loves her sisters, she does like her alone time and possibly could go home solo. This would only be an option for her if there's a human in the home most of the time, as she is very social. Cleopatra, like most of our residents, would be happiest in a home with a screened in area. Characteristics Affectionate, Athletic, Brave, Curious, Friendly, Gentle, Loves, Playful, Smart, Loves To Sleep Curled Up To Her Foster Mom, Talkative, Outgoing DOB: 3/26/24

Story
Rosie came to us with her two newborns, Bruce and Rosalita. She's not particularly bonded to any of our cats, including her offspring. Rosie has a slight head tilt, that came on suddenly, but her vets cannot find a reason for it. She is a healthy and happy girl. She loves her canned food treats and will ask for it every morning. Rosie loves to watch the "wildlife" from the many windows and screened rooms, and she welcomes being petted by people SHE chooses. She's very smart, curious and has no bad habits. CHARACTERISTICS: Smart, Curious DOB: 12/15/16

Athena is a beautiful dilute calico, who is a bit on the shy side, although has come a long way in a short time. Athena likes to talk to you and now welcomes affection and attention, if you go slowly. In fact, she will chatter away at you until you engage in conversation! Athena and her four siblings entered the world on the sidewalk of an apartment complex, born to a very young, abandoned cat. They were brought to us with their mom, when the kittens were just one day old. They grew up in our nursery with ten other kittens their age and Minx, one of the moms. Athena tends to be a bit of a loner and could easily be an only pet IF there's a lot of human interaction, plenty of toys, a screened area and lots of patience and love..DOB: 3/26/24 Characteristics Affectionate, Curious, Friendly, Funny, Gentle, Playful, Quiet, Talkative, Shy At First

Story
This little guy has some amazingly beautiful markings to go along with his amazingly wonderful purrsonality. Silas (DOB: 04/21/2023) was a stray kitten who, thankfully, was rescued and brought to us. This little guy is uber-affectionate. Silas loves to play and especially snuggle and sleep with his two best friends, George and Miley. He enjoys being held and combed and even likes kisses! Silas will come running the moment his foster mom enters the room...he will jump up on the nearest piece of furniture to her, so he can put his paws on her shoulders, his nose in her face and talk and purr away. He just can't get enough love! We say he is "special needs" because he does have one bad habit. He likes to chomp on his foster mom's chin, and it hurts! She's trying to break him of that habit and is making slow and steady progress. DOB: 4/21/23

Story
Mochi, along with his six siblings, were born to a "community cat." Their mom, Minx, a Lilac Point Siamese, was being fed with others but not spayed. When she turned up pregnant, the feeder waited until she was ready to deliver before he contacted us. Since Minx was clearly about to give birth, we set her up in our nursery. Sure enough, the very next day, she delivered seven babies. Their foster mom was present for the births, and it's a good thing! Minx had three breach babies on March 26th. On April 14th, we took in an orphaned single kitten of the same age. This little family accepted "Kimba" as one of their own. Minx raised all eight babies with such love and devotion that we are hoping she can be adopted with a pair of her littles. Mochi is a little sweetheart. While quite playful, he tends to be on the gentle and quiet side. His best friends seem to be Inky and Louie, but he would be happy to be adopted with any of his buddies. Our kittens are adopted in pairs, as we strongly believe that (for all involved) two is much better than one! DOB: 3/28/24

Story
Hello, world! Meet our newest little siblings, McKinley and her brother, Tyler (DOB: 5/27/25 or so) How'd they get here? Our friend and rescue partner, Ruth of Tip My Ear, answered a knock on her door and there they were, in the arms of neighborhood kids. Of course, she took them in and called us right away, as she had nowhere to put them. They are precious. They are smart. They are purry. They are brave. They are hilarious to watch. McKinley and Tyler are bonded and will be adopted to their forever home together. Get your application in!
