Hi, I’m Lady. I have plenty to say. I’m just looking for my person to say it to. The volunteers gave me my own room at the shelter and it’s made quite a difference. I’ve been showing them just how happy, playful and engaging I can be. I’m a calico who enjoys company and likes to interact. Bring a little time to play and a willingness to join the conversation, and we’ll have a lovely way to start getting acquainted. I prefer keeping my paws on the ground, so there’s no need to scoop me up to spend time with me. I’d love someone who looks forward to learning all the little things that make me, me. Someone who enjoys my chatter, makes time for fun, and thinks, “I can’t wait to get home and see my girl.” I do need to be the only cat in my home. I prefer people over feline roommates and having my own space at the shelter has helped me show the volunteers so much more of my happy personality. They named me Lady, although I still think Queen has a nice ring to it. My royal wish list is pretty simple: room to play, someone to keep me company, and a home where I belong. Having a room of my own has been wonderful. Having a person of my own? I’d really like that. Could that person be you? Bonnie started off as a stray that I would feed on the back porch, and eventually I she walked into my house and never went back. I scheduled her to get spayed and vaccinated shortly after. Ever since, she has been learning the ropes of indoor kitty life, and loving every second of it. She LOVES other cats, and she gets along great with my 5 cats I have. She is quite young, the doctors estimate right at a year old, give or take. Now that she feels more secure, she loves to play a lot! She will play with one of my blind cats, or play with any toy she can find. She's very sweet, but she's still apprehensive about humans and can get skittish when you try to touch her. She shows her affection by quietly snuggling right up to you when you aren't expecting it. She has never been around children, but she's overall friendly and I would assume she would do well. She has never been around dogs.

Jameson is 5-years-old and is friendly. He loves snuggles under a blanket and purrs away. We are looking for a new home due to ongoing conflict with our other cat. Jameson is not the aggressor, and after trying many different approaches, we believe a different environment may be best for him. He became vocal at night in our home, but when he stayed with family in a quieter home, he was completely quiet and settled very well (Unable to stay there). We think he may thrive in a quieter home as an only cat, although he may also enjoy a friendly cat his age or younger. He snuggles when his brother lets him. He has never lived with children, but has always been friendly with people. Jameson is strictly indoors and has not had routine vaccinations since his kitten vaccines. I am happy to pay to have his vaccinations updated before adoption. We just want to give him the opportunity to thrive and feel it may not be with us.
