Story
Tom was a stray found on a college campus when he was just a kitten. My daughter's friend attended the college and asked if we would be interested in taking him. We had just lost our dog and my wife didn't want to leave a kitten alone or put in a shelter so she took him. That was approximately 12 years ago. We have another cat, Kenzie, who was adopted at the same time to provide Tom company. They are approximately the same age. Both have had all their shots, regular check ups and both are declawed on their front paws. Neither has had any serious health problems. Tom is very laid back and not excitable. Kenzie is more skittish but she enjoys attention. They are very close and typically cuddle up with each other when they sleep. We are wanting to place them because my daughter just recently married a man who is seriously allergic to cats. They can't visit us due to his allergy. Also, the man who works with my son who has autism has bad cat allergies.

Story
Topper was acquired having been in an accident at which time we took him in and had him since. He is 9 years old and is very affectionate, getting along with all humans. We just can’t care for him as we are taking care of our great aunt and he spends too much time alone. He is deserving of a loving home.

Story
Billy is a 2-year-old female cat, born in our home and raised in a loving environment. She has a gentle, playful personality and can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she is very sweet and enjoys quiet, playful interactions. She is an indoor-outdoor cat and is used to having safe access to the outdoors, so an environment where she can continue this (or a very enriching indoor setup) would be ideal. Billy would do best with a patient owner who can give her time to adjust and respect her softer nature. She is well-mannered, not aggressive, and would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate cat.

Story
We adopted Romeo from the STL Humane Society in Maryland Heights. He is 14 years old and would be a great cat for a loving home. I believe since he is getting older that perhaps a senior woman that just wants to have a loving, cuddly cat to keep them company would be best. Visitors will always be greeted and escorted back to the door with a nice good bye rub or good petting. Romeo isn't like normal cats that hides away.. He does like visitors and kids.We are moving to California soon to where my kids are. We can't bring Romeo with us as I don't think he would like the 3 day drive there. Think it is best to find another good home to love him. We will give the new owner, our Iam's cat food bag (unopened), automatic cat litterbox, liners, litter, and cat treats to start you out right. We live in South St. Louis County, MO near Hwy 55 and Butler Hill Road. We want a good home for him.Terri

Cat is about 10 years old. I am really hoping that she can be adopted into a home that has time to spend with them. Vet comfirmed that this cat is intersex, this is why other cats tend to not like her.

Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Roux is 3 yr 8 mo old boy cat. He is super sweet and loves affection/attention. He is somewhat skittish. He has the potential to be a lap cat, but doesn’t exactly like to be held. He is playful, mischievous, and sometimes “spicy”, as orange cats can be. He’s lived with a medium/large sized dog since he was 4 months old. They get along, but he does like to ambush said dog. I do not recommend a home with small children, as that is why we are rehoming him. He does not do well with our toddler and has scratched her in the face several times. He needs his own personal space as he has become territorial of the common areas in our home. We are unable to give him a safe space away from the toddler due to lack of space in our home. We love him and want to find him the best home possible! He is neutered and microchipped, but he is not up-to-date on his vaccinations and vet care. To ensure that whomever we rehome him to will provide him with the vet care he needs, please provide a vet reference.
