Tesla was only about 3 months old and already out on the streets by himself. We are working on socializing this boy to prepare him for adoption. Bunny had been living amongst several hotels and convenience stores over the last year south of Cedar Rapids. Everyone was feeding her but no one fixed her. After calls from concerned hotel guests, a volunteer went out and caught her. Upon examination by our veterinary, we found out she was nursing kittens. After searching but not finding her kittens, we released her. Thankfully, she led us immediately to them tucked away in a dumpster. We retrieved the kittens an recaptured Bunny bringing them all back to our Adoption Center.She is still unsure of people but likes to hang out with us.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Monarch showed up at a volunteer's home in the Kenwood area. Much to our surprise, Monarch gave birth to 5 kittens 3 days later - Capone, Clyde, Bonnie, Calamity Jane & Belle Star.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program.
