Age: Born in 2016 Location: Marion, IA Spayed/Neutered: Yes Declawed: Front declawed Vaccinations: Current on all shots About Luna: Luna is a sweet, gentle girl who loves curling up next to people. She originally came from Cedar Rapids Animal Control and has been a wonderful companion: calm, affectionate, and easygoing. She was my daughter’s cat, but my daughter moved to Oklahoma for school and won’t be able to have a cat for several years. Unfortunately, my wife and son have strong cat allergies, so we cannot keep Luna long-term, and she needs more attention than we can give her. Personality: * Very affectionate * Loves snuggling * Quiet and well-mannered * Great indoor-only cat Ideal Home: Luna would do best in a calm, loving home where she can get lots of attention and enjoy cozy places to nap. Because she is front-declawed, she needs to remain indoors.

He's a good cat though a little quirky at times, raised with two other cats and loves cuddles. He was an outside kitten when my roommate got him in 2016, but he's been primarily an indoor cat. He also loves catnip and to play with kicksticks and any kind of string.

He would probably do best in our barn cat program.He was a fall 2020 kitten.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. Bunny had been living amongst several hotels and convenience stores over the last year south of Cedar Rapids. Everyone was feeding her but no one fixed her. After calls from concerned hotel guests, a volunteer went out and caught her. Upon examination by our veterinary, we found out she was nursing kittens. After searching but not finding her kittens, we released her. Thankfully, she led us immediately to them tucked away in a dumpster. We retrieved the kittens an recaptured Bunny bringing them all back to our Adoption Center.She is still unsure of people but likes to hang out with us.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. Much to our surprise, Monarch gave birth to 5 kittens 3 days later - Capone, Clyde, Bonnie, Calamity Jane & Belle Star.Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program.
