Calico kittens & cats in Waukee, Iowa

Callie is a fabulous cat, a 5 year old calico, adopted from the Animal Rescue League. She is very affectionate, quite the snuggle pot, loves to lap sit and likes to be where her person is. She is very playful and loves her toys. She is strictly an indoor cat. While she likes people, I do not know how she would be with small children. She does not like the presence of other cats. While she does not fight with my cats, she does chase and pounce on them. She should be rehomed in a home with no other cats. She does not scratch furniture, but loves a good scratching post. Shedding is minimal. She would be a good cat for someone who has recently lost their pet, as she is great company and likes to be near people. I am heartbroken, to give her up, but I have a disabled cat, with three legs, who I believe had been priorly abused. Callie like to pounce on her and the disabled cat is scared of her to the point she had begun chewing on her own leg until it is bloody and losing her fur.

She is roughly 9 years old. Loves to lay on laps and be petted.

Meet Lucia! She is 3 year old domestic shorthair. She is a sweet and affectionate yet sassy girl! She is very active and energetic and loves to come up and show you her belly for pets. She would go up to my corgi nuzzle her face up to hers but unfortunately my corgi is territorial. So seems she would get along with pets that get along with others just would need time to adjust. Was told she has lived with other cat/s before. She does like the play pounce/ nibble and follow you around as well as loves wand toys. Was told she does not like to get picked up but I’ve picked her up plenty of times and she doesn’t hate it. If you like a cat with a sweet and sassy personality please reach out!
