Story
Hello! We are Nemo and Dory, the best duo of troublemakers you’ll ever love! As sisters, we love each other, but we don’t always LIKE each other. Also, while we love the countertops, our foster mama is teaching us not to jump, such a buzz kill! When we’re not causing mischief, we love cuddling with people - you can find us most of the time on your lap asking for some love. Give us a chance and you’ll have not just one, but two hearts that belong to you! We came to RCHS together, when Dory wasn't feeling great and Nemo had an injured leg that required an amputation. Dory's feeling great now, and Nemo doesn’t mind a bit that she's now a tripod! We're happy, friendly girls who are looking for a home where we can stay together. - Dory is the more confident of the two and helps Nemo to know she is safe. They sleep and play together, often opt to share a food bowl, and groom each other, providing you with ample opportunities to soak up the cuteness that bonded cats bring to the table. Dory has introduced herself to the dog and other cat in her foster home and gets along with everyone. Nemo is still hesitant with the other animals, but would likely adjust to other furry friends as long as they allow her time to get comfortable - All kitties go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Story
*Courtesy Post Could you give Charlie a chance? This sweet - and oh-so-handsome - boy turned up at a colony caretaker's feeding station earlier this year. Charlie clearly had a home once, and deserves a chance to find one again. From his caretaker: According to the vet, he is about a year old. He showed up at one of our feeding locations in January. In the beginning, he was so scared, he would sprint away as soon as he heard us coming. But then one day, in early February, he just stopped running and came up to me and let me pet him. That’s all it took! He waits for us every morning and evening. He sleeps in one of our cat huts every night. So far, he is friendly with everyone he has come into contact with, even kids. He loves belly rubs and attention in general. He can be picked up for short amounts of time and will sit on your lap for pets. He is neutered and has his rabies shot. We have no idea how he would do in a home or with other pets. But, if someone would take a chance on him, I think he would be a great pet! *Courtesy posting is a service RCHS provides to our community members who need to rehome an animal. Story
*Courtesy Post Meet Grandma! Grandma was brought to Blue Hills Vet as a stray. We tried to locate her home with no luck. Since her arrival, Grandma has been busy at the clinic making friends with lots and lots of people, but would LOVE to have a home to call her own. Her name may be Grandma, but she still has a lot of spunk! Grandma loves people and the first day she meets you she will crawl into your lap and demand your attention! While she adores people, she does not enjoy the presence of other animals (both dogs and cats). She has more than enough love, cuddles and purrs to share with you all on her own! Although she’s enjoying her time with our caring staff and sleeping in her fluffy bed, she dreams of being in a home with her person! Grandma is spayed and recently had a dental! She did test positive for FIV but that hasn’t slowed her down or stopped her from having fun! *Courtesy posting is a service RCHS provides to our community members who need to rehome an animal.
