Story
Rigbey showed up at my house as a stray a little over a year ago, and I've been caring for her ever since. During that time, we've formed a wonderful bond, but its come time for me to relocate and I unfortunately cant take her with me. Based on her personality, I'm fairly certain Rigbey was once an indoor cat who may have been abandoned. She absolutely loves people and is always trying to come inside. While she enjoys exploring outdoors and occasionally bringing little "gifts" to show her appreciation, she seems happiest curled up with her humans. Rigbey is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and has the sweetest personality. She's also very vocal and will happily "chat" with you throughout the day, letting you know exactly how she's feeling. If you're looking for a loving companion who wants to be involved in everything you do, she might be the perfect fit.

Story
I got her from a pet store with my mom, thinking that she was going to do well with my dog, the pet store had said she got along with everything but it was not what happened at my house. She’s loved to explore and play. Cardboard is her favorite, Hair ties too. I don’t want to get rid of her, but my mom and me think it’s too much for our old dog. I would be willing to give you all her stuff: kennel, litter boxes, her cat tower, food/water bowls. I just would like her to go to an amazing home

Story
I acquired Tita two years ago from a friend who couldn't keep her. She was five years old at the time. My friend had her spad and all of her shots. She is a gentle cat and very good around kids and adults. She loves to be held and is a great lap cat. She is house trained and is mostly in the house. She does like to go out side when the weather is nice. She doesn't leave my yard and comes back to the door when she wants back in. She eats dry cat food. She doesn't seem to want the canned food. I want to re-home her because 2 of my granddaughters that have just moved closer to me, and are allergic to cats. They would visit more if I didn't have a cat. Reach out to me if you are a caring person who needs a new friend. Thank you for your time.

Story
Our little Munchkin - aka Lunchbox - is ready to find his forever home! For those who haven't been following Munchkin’s story, here is a quick recap to get you up to speed: Munchkin joined RCHS last September as a very sick 6 month old boy. After his arrival, we quickly confirmed that he has the rare condition of congenital hypothyroidism. We soon learned he also has a heart abnormality and malformed hips. His hypothyroidism is now well controlled with medication and he is also on medication to slow down any development of secondary heart disease. His malformed hips required bilateral FHOs (femoral head ostectomy), which he received in March. Through it all, this sweet boy has been a bundle of love and cuddles and he's now ready to be adopted! This handsome guy may greet you with a little grumpy face at first, but don’t be fooled, it’s all part of his charm! Give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see his true personality shine! He is a sweet love bug who loves to play! He’s currently still on the mend from his surgery and doing better every day. Lately, he’s been showing off by jumping onto surfaces and zooming around to chase his housemates. It’s been amazing to watch his confidence (and energy!) come back. When he’s not practicing his parkour skills, he’s all about cozy time. He loves snuggling up in bed and will happily keep your pillow warm while you’re gone. He’d thrive with a playful cat buddy who enjoys chasing and wrestling, but he’d also be perfectly content as your one-and-only, soaking up all the love and attention. He is okay with respectful dogs as well! If you’re looking for a cat who starts a little spicy but turns into a total softie, Lunchbox might just be your perfect match! All kitties go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Story
Hello! We are Nemo and Dory, the best duo of troublemakers you’ll ever love! As sisters, we love each other, but we don’t always LIKE each other. Also, while we love the countertops, our foster mama is teaching us not to jump, such a buzz kill! When we’re not causing mischief, we love cuddling with people - you can find us most of the time on your lap asking for some love. Give us a chance and you’ll have not just one, but two hearts that belong to you! We came to RCHS together, when Dory wasn't feeling great and Nemo had an injured leg that required an amputation. Dory's feeling great now, and Nemo doesn’t mind a bit that she's now a tripod! We're happy, friendly girls who are looking for a home where we can stay together. - Dory is the more confident of the two and helps Nemo to know she is safe. They sleep and play together, often opt to share a food bowl, and groom each other, providing you with ample opportunities to soak up the cuteness that bonded cats bring to the table. Dory has introduced herself to the dog and other cat in her foster home and gets along with everyone. Nemo is still hesitant with the other animals, but would likely adjust to other furry friends as long as they allow her time to get comfortable - All kitties go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Story
*Courtesy Post Could you give Charlie a chance? This sweet - and oh-so-handsome - boy turned up at a colony caretaker's feeding station earlier this year. Charlie clearly had a home once, and deserves a chance to find one again. From his caretaker: According to the vet, he is about a year old. He showed up at one of our feeding locations in January. In the beginning, he was so scared, he would sprint away as soon as he heard us coming. But then one day, in early February, he just stopped running and came up to me and let me pet him. That’s all it took! He waits for us every morning and evening. He sleeps in one of our cat huts every night. So far, he is friendly with everyone he has come into contact with, even kids. He loves belly rubs and attention in general. He can be picked up for short amounts of time and will sit on your lap for pets. He is neutered and has his rabies shot. We have no idea how he would do in a home or with other pets. But, if someone would take a chance on him, I think he would be a great pet! *Courtesy posting is a service RCHS provides to our community members who need to rehome an animal. This animal is not with RCHS and all information is provided by the animal's current guardian.
