She is the absolute sweetest kitty. She rubs your face and wants you to hold her. But she’s a one person cat. And she doesn’t like our dogs, or most of the other cats. She has her favorite people. I think she would do best with maybe one other cat, or none. We found her outside when she was a baby, and something had tore her up. If we wouldn’t have caught her and took her to the vet, she probably wouldn’t have made it. She is skittish, but very sweet. She has been spayed. She loves to play by herself. (With toys, small objects, hair clips, my elastic bands for my hair especially!) we have 6 cats and 2 huge dogs, one is a puppy. She needs a quieter home, with less animals in it. She is about 2 years old.

Rose & her brother both came to our home in June 2021 as kittens. We have two dogs as well, (a pug and cocker-poo), she gets along with all of the pets, although she doesn't want to play with the dogs. We have many guests come and go in our house; babies, toddlers, kids, and adults, so she is used to a busy house. She is a loving, gentle calico that loves to have your snuggles. She will follow you from room to room and play as much as you want to. I recently developed an allergy to cats, so we are hoping to find someone who wants a gentle snuggler... and constant friend.

Miss Penny is a bundle of joy and energy with a sweet snuggly side. We took her in after finding her lost in the rain just three years ago and she has been such a fun little girl, but since we had our baby I have developed an allergy to cat dander and just don’t have the time to give her the attention she deserves. She is litter trained and well behaved indoors. Penny would be the perfect pet for someone who likes to play and engage with a kitten at heart.

All dogs and cats are altered before leaving the shelter per Kansas State Law. All dogs and cats are tested and vaccinated with age appropriate test and vaccines. All dogs are microchipped, we offer this for cat adopters as well.You can come fill out applications at the shelter, we are going to try to get them online. With all dogs we require meet and greets with everyone in the home including other pups.Happy Adopting!
